With Blue Apron’s Referral Program, you have the chance to invite your friends and family members (called “Invitees”) to join Blue Apron by creating a new subscription account. Participating in the Referral Program is entirely optional.
If you’re eligible and have Referral Program invitations, you’ll receive notifications in the Free Meal section of your Account. You can access this section by clicking the link in the header of the Blue Apron Site.

Additionally, Blue Apron occasionally allows you to earn referral credits (“Referral Credits”) when you refer someone who becomes an eligible Invitee. These Referral Credits can be used exclusively for future eligible Orders within your Meal Subscription. More details about Referral Credits are provided below.
This program is a way for you to introduce Blue Apron to others and earn credits that you can apply to your own meal orders.
2. Eligibility
To take part in the Referral Program as a referrer (the person sending out invitations) and to earn Referral Credits, you are required to meet specific eligibility criteria. These include: You must possess an active Blue Apron account and maintain it in good standing.
You need to be over 18 years old.
You must be a legal resident of the United States.
It’s important to note that Blue Apron holds the authority to discontinue your participation in the Referral Program and disqualify you at any time if you fail to adhere to these Referral Terms & Conditions.
3. Referral Credits
If you meet the requirements to earn Referral Credits, you will be informed of this in the Free Meals section of your Account Settings. To qualify for Referral Credits, certain conditions must be met. These conditions include: Your Invitee must click on your Referral Program invitation link.
Your Invitee should be a new Blue Apron customer (having not previously subscribed to Blue Apron).
Your Invitee must complete the registration process directly through the referral link.
Your Invitee should be over the age of 18.
Your Invitee must reside in a zip code within Blue Apron’s delivery area in the contiguous United States.
Your Invitee should participate in a Meal Subscription Program as described in connection with the respective Referral Credit(s).
