Let’s get started!<\/p>\n

1.)\u00a0Go on Safari in Kruger National Park<\/strong><\/p>\n

I can’t recommend this enough – even if you’re not the nature buff, the idea of being stood (albeit in a jeep) right next to a lion\/cheetah\/giraffe\/elephant<\/a> in it’s natural environment is definitely an experience you won’t be forgetting in a while. Plus after you’ve been on Safari, you’ve also got other cool cities like Cape Town to go explore. See more here.<\/p>\n

2.) Go White Water Rafting down the Cetina River in Croatia<\/strong><\/p>\n

The river\u00a0is fairly long so you can adapt the duration of time you do it for, along with the difficulty level, to your needs and ability. See more here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

3.) Climb the rather steep Priekestolen in Norway<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is easily one of the most impressive places I’ve visited and the beach here<\/a>\u00a0is like no other.<\/p>\n

5.) Go whale watching in Iceland<\/strong><\/p>\n

Even if you don’t get to see the amazing creatures, there’s a huge chance you’ll get to see some rather friendly dolphins<\/a>.<\/p>\n

6.) Climb the UNESCO World Heritage site of Sigiriya in Sri Lanka<\/strong><\/p>\n

7.) Swim with Stingrays in the Caribbean island of Antigua<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was easily one of the highlights of my trip to Antigua<\/a>! Its such a unique experience to have and one I definitely bragged about A LOT about on Facebook<\/a> afterwards.<\/p>\n

8.) Spend a long weekend in Las Vegas<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is the city of excess<\/a> and you’ll absolutely got to drop all inhibitions when you arrive and throw yourself into the fun city that is Las Vegas<\/a>!<\/p>\n

9.) Visit the Atlas mountains in Morocco<\/strong><\/p>\n

A trip up to the Atlas Mountains<\/a>\u00a0is bound to leave you impressed with the natural landscape, couple that with a chance to spend time with a Berber family<\/a> and you’ve got yourself an experience that’ll play on your mind for quite some time to come.<\/p>\n

10.) See the Northern Lights in Iceland<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes, it truly lives up to the hype<\/a>! Best part is that it’s one of those free things you can do in Iceland if you choose your accommodation wisely. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

11.) Go on a road trip across the United States<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thanks to many-a-movie, the very thought of a road trip takes your mind straight away to the long and open roads of the US. We did a 3 week trip across the US (Florida to California) and I can’t recommend it enough! It’s such a brilliant experiences as a whole, especially with National Treasures like Ichetucknee Springs<\/a>\u00a0(which you have to go tubing down), Monument Valley<\/a> and it’s rather dramatic landscape), the amazing Antelope Canyon<\/a>, driving down Route 66<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0the impossibly huge meteorite crater<\/a>… to mention but a few!<\/p>\n

12.) Eat your way through the Spanish Basque Country<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Cobbled<\/a><\/p>\n

If you’re a foodie like me, then a trip to the Spanish Basque Country<\/a> is an absolute must! Here’s a heads up though – the food is very good, there’s A LOT of it typically and it’s eaten over hours not minutes so do visit at the risk\u00a0of an accelerated expansion of your waistline.<\/p>\n

13.) Swim with turtles in Barbados<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Swimming<\/a><\/p>\n

Now, while you can swim with turtles in quite a few places in the world, Barbados is one of the few places where you’re almost guaranteed to see turtles<\/a>\u00a0on every attempt to go snorkelling. Then there’s also the whole island left to explore once you’ve had your fill of turtles too!<\/p>\n

14.) Go on a Hot air balloon ride<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nThe view is amazing<\/a>. The experience is surreal and the bragging rights afterwards are totally worth it!<\/p>\n

15.) Go skiing in Zell am See, Austria<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Learn<\/a><\/p>\n

Honestly, you could go skiing anywhere but not only is the skiing here pretty amazing, the town itself is also quite beautiful and worth visiting even if you’re not planning on going skiing.<\/p>\n

16.) Ride a rickshaw\u00a0across Italy<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

This is a fairly new adventure to be had in Italy and it is without a doubt a unique way to see Italy<\/a>. The many different aspects of Italian life along with the beautiful villages<\/a> you’ll get to see (which you might otherwise miss out on) are what make this a rather ingeniously brilliant\u00a0Italian adventure.<\/p>\n

17.) Go on a Fjord Safari<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Fjords of Norway<\/a> are one of the most impressive natural landmarks you’ll get to see and there’s no better way to do\u00a0get up close and personal with them than to go on a Fjord Safari<\/a>. My favourite part of this way getting to see the wildlife as well as the rather unique perspective you get of the Fjords on the safari.<\/p>\n

18.) Explore every island in the Isles of Scilly<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"First<\/a><\/p>\n

The Isles of Scilly<\/a> are islands that a lot of people don’t seem to know about but once they do, they all want to visit it. I’ve honestly never met anyone who’s heard about them and not been excited about visiting them and it’s easy to understand why even from just looking at the photos<\/a>\u00a0(see more photos here<\/a>).<\/p>\n

19.) Go cycling around Palau Ubin, Singapore<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is the island that shows you a totally different take on\u00a0Singaporean life. Ubin is\u00a0a far cry from the bright lights of the city<\/a> and is something of a throwback to how people used to live in Singapore. It’s a beautiful island (away from the main island) and definitely worth spending a day exploring.<\/p>\n

20.) Swim with sharks\u00a0in the Maldives<\/strong><\/p>\n

First off, these aren’t dangerous sharks but they’re still pretty big ( the ones we saw were around 5 – 6ft long) and the sight of one swimming up to you in suffice it to say, a rather surreal experience! Disclaimer<\/strong>: I was only happy to do this after I was told that the sharks weren’t dangerous.<\/em> \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

21.) Go sailing in the Canary Islands<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Canary Islands are fairly popular amongst British travellers but I have to admit, I didn’t fully get the hype until we visited recently Fuerteventura.
