Hello from Sri Lanka! SO as you already know after our time in the Maldives, we headed straight for Sri Lanka (which is only 1.5 hours away) and this time we\u2019ve gotten to experience a totally different way of travelling with Evaneos Travel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The thing about Sri Lanka is that although there are 4 of us visiting together, none of us has been here before so planning would have been something of an arduous task without the folks over at Evaneos Travel who connect you with locals on ground. It\u2019s different from a travel concierge service as they don\u2019t personally handle any of your travel plans for you – it\u2019s more like Airbnb for the travel industry – they connect you with local people, offering your authentic experiences at local prices too (which makes it so much more affordable).<\/p>\n

As I type this, everyone else has gone to sleep and so, rather than rambling on – here are some of the photos from our time in Sri Lanka! I\u2019ve also been Periscoping at @HLOBlog and on Snapchat at HandLuggageOnly to try to show you a more uncensored version of what it\u2019s like here so do have a look and let me know what you think! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
