{"id":10264,"date":"2025-12-04T09:09:47","date_gmt":"2025-12-04T09:09:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/justpaste.in\/blogs\/grand-central-station-new-york-city-a-photo-diary\/"},"modified":"2026-08-04T10:21:54","modified_gmt":"2026-08-04T10:21:54","slug":"grand-central-station-new-york-city-a-photo-diary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/justpaste.in\/blogs\/grand-central-station-new-york-city-a-photo-diary\/","title":{"rendered":"Photo And Postcards: Grand Central Station, New York"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Grand Central Station is one of those <a href=\"https:\/\/handluggageonly.co.uk\/2020\/03\/31\/24-very-best-things-to-do-in-new-york\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">places in New York<\/a> that I often wonder why I pop in to see.<\/p>\n<p>Almost every time I&#8217;ve been here, I&#8217;ve had no business visiting the station. No trains to catch, no shops to visit, no business somewhere-nearby which means it&#8217;s convenient enough to just pop in&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>None of that.<\/p>\n<p>So why the attraction to this place and it dawned on me as I did a timelapse; the reason why I keep coming back here is that in a lot of ways, it feels like the beating heart of the city.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a point of arrival, connections and a certain energy that defines New York (to me anyway \ud83d\ude42 ).<\/p>\n<p>In any case, I feel like I over-theorised the reasoning behind why I like Grand Central station so much that I exhausted myself. Who cares why?<\/p>\n<p>I like it (as it turns out, I&#8217;m in quite good company here) and that&#8217;s all that matter.
