One of the best things about all the amazing areas in London<\/a> is how diverse each of their foodie scenes is. You see, neighbourhoods like; Covent Garden<\/a>, Whitechapel<\/a> and Kings Cross<\/a> all have their fair share of amazing restaurants, with Notting Hill being no exception. Now, in my opinion, there are a heap of the best restaurants in Notting Hill that honestly can’t be missed. <\/p>\n

Now, the chances are (if you’re not from London) the main things you will know about this area will involve the Notting Hill Carnival and the possibility of meeting and falling in love with Julia Roberts in a book shop. That being said, there is so much more to the area than a carnival and a Hollywood film. <\/p>\n

This is exactly why I wanted to share some of the best restaurants in Notting Hill to visit on your next trip. Just make sure to arrive hungry and with a big appetite. You’ll leave stuffed. <\/p>\n

1.) Granger & Co<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Granger & Co always seem to have that ability to make me leave my bed on a weekday morning (and trust me, that is a hard task). \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

Granger & Co<\/a> have some really tasty breakfasts, especially the chilli fried egg & bacon brioche roll with spiced mango chutney. It’s so yummy and a great way to start the day.<\/p>\n

Before trying, I’d always imagined that chilli fried egg would be a little too strong for a morning, but boy was I wrong. They also prepare some tasty avocado on toast, too.  <\/p>\n

2.) Daylesford W11<\/strong><\/h3>\n

If your the type (like me) that usually likes a relaxing “lay-in”  type of morning, then brunch at Daylesford W11<\/a> is a great little choice as it goes on into the early afternoon. <\/p>\n

Run by the award-winning Daylesford Organic Farm, they bring organic produce into the city on a daily basis.  One hidden gem is their on-site, organic cafe – which is super scrumptious, too.<\/p>\n

Make sure to try their top-notch poached eggs, free-range organic Daylesford Gloucestershire cured ham, with home-made hollandaise. It really is one of the best restaurants in Notting Hill for brunch. Yum!<\/p>\n

3.) The Ledbury<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Okay, so, The Ledbury<\/a> is easily up there as one of the best restaurants in Notting Hill for a perfect dinner treat.<\/p>\n

In fact, the restaurant has been awarded two Michelin stars for its incredible cuisine. Now, although it’s not cheap (a four-course meal costing around \u00a3135 each), it’s certainly a tasty and special experience to have whilst in the area. <\/p>\n

That being said, you can visit on their set lunch menu (for around \u00a380, each). Their seasonal menu changes regularly and is well worth it for a special occasion. <\/p>\n

4.) Portobello Road Market <\/strong><\/h3>\n

So, London has a heap of the best markets<\/a> and street food markets<\/a> that can’t be missed on a first visit to the city. With, if I’m honest, Notting Hill being of no exception.<\/p>\n

Head to Portobello Road Market<\/a> for some antique shopping and vintage clothing you can even buy your fruit and veg directly from the stall’s the whole cornucopia of products but there’s also a massive foodie scene in the stalls too. Just make sure to arrive hungrily and take a wander for some of the best grub. <\/p>\n

5.) Notting Hill Carnival<\/strong><\/h3>\n

If you are in London around the end of August, then make sure to head to Britain\u2019s biggest street party, The Notting Hill Carnival<\/a>.<\/p>\n

So, the festival itself is a massive occasion where people get dressed up and enjoy the street party while dancing to some of the best in African and Caribbean music.<\/p>\n

Now, there’s a whole heap of stalls that open during the Notting Hill Carnival that are well worth trying. For instance, if you’ve never tried, make sure to grab some jerk chicken, rice and peas whilst you’re here, it’s so tasty (and spicey).<\/p>\n

6.) Luna Rossa<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Perched on Kensington Park Road, Luna Rossa<\/a> is one of the best restaurants in Notting Hill to visit if you love authentic Italian food. Not only that, the service in this relatively small restaurant is totally amazing and so warm and lovely. <\/p>\n

Just make sure to leave plenty of room for their Cannoli Siciliani. Honestly, it’s so tasty and one of the best Italians in London, generally. <\/p>\n

7.) Kalamaras Greek Taverna<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Nestled within Inverness Mews, Kalamaras Greek Taverna<\/a> is probably one of the best restaurants in Notting Hill for Greek food. <\/p>\n

They have the tastiest mezze and Kl\u00e9ftiko which is perfect if you love roasted lamb. That being said, if it’s beef you enjoy, try their Stif\u00e1do which is a little like a beef and onion stew.<\/p>\n

With only one mouthful, this instantly took me right back to our last trip to the Greek Island of Crete<\/a>. I loved it. <\/p>\n

8.) The Prince Edward<\/strong><\/h3>\n

If it’s some proper British dishes<\/a> you’re after, then you’ve got to head across to Prince Edward<\/a>. Here, they serve a whole range of British classics that is perfect if you want to try something local. <\/p>\n

Once here, make sure to try their pie of the day and go for their sticky toffee pudding for dessert. It really is one of the best restaurants in Notting Hill after a brisk evening stroll in the area.<\/p>\n

If you’re looking for one of the best restaurants in Notting Hill with some flare, then head across to Core<\/a> by Clare Smyth. Now, this kind of place could look to be all about ‘style over substance’ but let me assure you, it’s not. <\/p>\n

Here, there serve up some of the tastiest seasonal menus, especially with their ‘Core classic’ menu that’s around \u00a3125 for a seven-course meal.  Just make sure to book in advance, especially on the weekend. <\/p>\n
