I just got a new camera and I’m chuffed to bits about it.<\/p>\n

I started to feel a bit like I’d outgrown my other camera (I’d had it for years) and I finally decided to go up a notch and get a full-frame camera.<\/p>\n

The only thing is I now have the whole ‘new camera’ learning curve to get past now which I thought would be easier seeing as I stayed with the same brand but it’s definitely a lot easier said than done.<\/p>\n

I used to use the Canon 1100D (see the full specs on Amazon UK<\/a> here. It’s called something else in the US<\/a>, I think the rebel T-something) and my new camera is the Canon 6D (check out the full spec on John Lewis here<\/a>).<\/p>\n

I’d wanted that camera for a little over a year now but the price is… er… a tad steep!<\/p>\n

I eventually managed to convince myself that it was high time and worth the extra expense and so I’m back to learning all about a new camera all over again.<\/p>\n

The best way to learn of course is to get out there and take photos so on our recent trip to Copenhagen, I did just that. The camera is supposed to be quite good for portrait photography so I figured I might as well get started with that.<\/p>\n

These aren’t necessarily the best photos possible (I’m still learning of course) but I would like to know what you think! Here some of the ‘portraits’ I took in Copenhagen.<\/p>\n
