This is the 2nd part of this post if you missed part 1; catch it here<\/a>.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Okay, so where were we?<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

Right, we were still at the Laugarvatn Fontana<\/a>, where I’d made the decision to cool off by jumping into the freezing river.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

It’s a very shallow river by the way but that notwithstanding, it was still freezing so by the time I got out of it, I ran the faster I think I have in quite some time right into the sauna to warm up again.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

Eventually, it was time to head back on the road again but thorough fed, watered and relaxed, we were all energised to tackle the next item on our trip; a trip to the Golden Circle.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

Before we left, however, Viktor offered us some coffees to help us on our way which we happily obliged to.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

Visiting Laugarvatn Fontana<\/a> was definitely a fantastic way to start our trip.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

Off into the car, we popped!<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

Right up until we got to Geysir, to see some geysers.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

As we approached, Skrokkur (the biggest and most active geyser here) greeted us by erupting.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

Thankfully, I had my camera within easy reach and whipped it out immediately.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n
