The opening of Winter Wonderland is right around the corner (I wasn’t entirely sure when they’d be opened but according to their website<\/a>, the gates open from the 21st of November!).<\/p>\n

Following on from my list of things you have to do in London over winter<\/a>, here’s a deeper dive into one of said activities – a trip to Winter Wonderland.

\n 
\nLondoners and visitors alike need to try to spend a few hours doing the following…
\n 
\n1.) Stock up on some Christmas ornaments<\/strong>
\n\"12<\/a>
\n 
\n2.) Get stuck in some Christmas sweets and treats! <\/strong>
\n\"12<\/a>
\n 
\n3.) Get yourself a bratwurst\/sausage.<\/strong> Those sausages are so tempting – you can almost smell them from a mile away!
\n\"12<\/a>
\n 
\n4.) Buy stuff you don’t really need nor want<\/strong> (or at least, you didn’t want it until 5 seconds before you saw the item!)
\n\"12<\/a>
\n 
\n5.) In case you missed the initial sweet treats run, there are always lots of candy stalls dotted around.<\/strong> Get your sugar fix <\/strong>at one of them.
\n\"12<\/a>
\n 
\n6.) Take a preliminary walk around and check out some of the entertainment around (while deciding what entertainment to shell your pennies out on).<\/strong>
\n\"12\"12<\/a>
\n 
\n7.) Go Ice Skating!<\/strong>
\n\"12<\/a>
\n\"12<\/a>
\n 
\n8.) Check out some of the other rides!<\/strong>
\n\"12<\/a>
\n 
\n9.) Stop for a drink (or two) in the beer ( or coffee???) garden.<\/strong>
\n\"12<\/a>

\n10.) Now that you’ve been on some of the tamer rides, work your way up to getting onto some of the bigger scarier rides…<\/strong>
\n\"12<\/a>
\n 
\n11.) …but not before heading over to the North Pole.<\/strong>
\n\"12<\/a>
\n 
\n12.) Get on this tall bouncing ride!<\/strong> (It’s PRETTY high so hopefully you’ve worked up your courage to get on it at this point. If not, fake it! \ud83d\ude42 )

\n13.) Go on a zip-line across the park.<\/strong>
\n\"12<\/a>
\n 
\n14.) Look out for famous pop-up restaurants<\/strong>, like this one from Jamie Oliver.

\n15.) Take a ride on the ferris wheel<\/strong>
\n\"12<\/a>
\n 
\n16.)  Get yourself some fresh caramelised nuts!<\/strong> (My favourite!!!)

\n17.) Head over to Santa Land<\/strong> (This more for children though adults can join in on the fun too! Make it a little family event!)

\n18.) Ride the big roller coaster!<\/strong>
\n\"12<\/a>

\n19.) Get some grilled salmon<\/strong> …or pretend to get some grilled salmon while instead getting warm by the fire (like this guy below!)
