The Long inseam hit right at the floor on me, making them perfect to wear with sneakers, sandals, boots, or a heel. Instead of sitting extremely low on your hips, they hit just below my belly button, making them feel much more wearable than the low-rise jeans many of us remember from the early 2000s.<\/p>\n<p>I actually think these are a great option if you have a shorter torso. They have a relaxed fit through the hips and legs with a beautiful drape that gives them an effortless, laid-back feel. The light wash I&#8217;m wearing is especially lightweight, making these a great choice for warmer weather.<\/p>\n<p>These are definitely a casual jean that I&#8217;d wear on weekends, running errands, or for an easy everyday outfit. That said, I also think they&#8217;d look surprisingly chic dressed up with a heeled sandal for dinner or a night out. My waist and hips are more proportional, so I don&#8217;t experience a significant waist gap. I like that the Classic fit feels a little more streamlined through the hips and thighs while still being comfortable.<\/p>\n<p>That said, if you&#8217;ve struggled with jeans fitting perfectly in your hips but leaving extra room at the waist, I absolutely recommend trying the Curve Love collection. While I do think their sizing has evolved over the years, my recent order felt true to size across the board.<\/p>\n<p>For reference, I typically wear a <strong>size 12\u201314<\/strong> with a <strong>44-inch hip measurement<\/strong>, and I ordered every pair in a <strong>size 32 Long<\/strong>. They all fit comfortably, and I probably could have sized down to a 31 if I wanted a more fitted look. Personally, though, I prefer my jeans to have a little room rather than feeling overly snug.<\/p>\n<p>I also wear a size 32 in Levi&#8217;s, and I&#8217;d say the fit is very comparable between the two brands.<\/p>\n<p>The one thing I have noticed is that <strong>the wash can affect the fit<\/strong>. In my experience, some of Abercrombie&#8217;s darker washes, especially black denim, tend to fit slightly more snug than lighter washes. During this try-on, I tested light, medium, and dark blue denim, and they all fit consistently in the same size.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re between sizes, I&#8217;d base your decision on how you like your jeans to fit. I personally prefer a little extra room, so I&#8217;d choose the larger of my two usual sizes (14\/32). For example, a cropped style will still have a cropped fit regardless of whether you choose Short, Regular, or Long. The longer inseams are simply proportioned for taller heights.<\/p>\n<p>I recom<\/p>\n<p>mend using Abercrombie&#8217;s height chart below as your starting point. In my experience, it&#8217;s very accurate.
