Day One<\/h2>\n

Arriving Into Positano<\/h3>\n

We arrived in Positano from Sorrento using the SITA bus around 12PM. I wrote a whole blog post on everything you need to know about visiting Positano<\/a>. Worth checking out for the logistic side of planning your travels to Positano.<\/p>\n

The SITA bus drops you off at the top of Positano. Wherever your accommodations are located in Positano, you\u2019ll have to go down steps. We stayed on the Fornillo side of Positano and our climb down took about 15 minutes. Carrying pounds of luggage, a duffle bag, and a hat I had to have was quite comical. It was also raining so the steps were very slippery. A little adventure getting to our Bed & Breakfast.<\/p>\n

Checking into Venus Bed & Breakfast<\/h3>\n

I think I found Positano\u2019s cutest hidden gem! Venus B<\/a>ed & Breakfast<\/a> was adorable and a tremendous value! Gippy was an excellent host as he went above and beyond, even made us impossible reservations for the famous Da Adolfo restaurant. Each room comes with a private terrace with amazing views. You\u2019ll be served breakfast every morning\u00a0 while taking the views.<\/p>\n

Lunch at Villa Gabrisa<\/h3>\n

After settling into our room we headed out to get some lunch. It was a werid time and many restuarants were closed. We found Villa Gabrisa<\/a> to be open and we headed in. The restaurant was very classy, and I think we were taken off guard at first because we were just looking for something casual. But we ate here anyways and indulged. The food was excellent. I ordered a curry risotto which was very interesting. I would go back here for drinks on their terrace overlooking the ocean!<\/p>\n

After lunch we headed back to the room and just rested. After, we did some exploring. Our goal was to get to the main beach in Positano, but we were side tracked by the beauty of Positano and only made it 5 minutes from our Bed & Breakfast.<\/p>\n

Aperitivo at Hotel Poseidon<\/h3>\n

Our first stop was Hotel Poseidon<\/a>. We rode up a tiny wooden elevator and were greeted by the prettiest cocktail room! We ordered some drinks and enjoyed the views. It was a little chilly so no one was outside, but that didn\u2019t stop us from exploring around. The service here was incredible. They even brought us blankets to warm up from being outside!<\/p>\n

Dinner at Da Vincenzo<\/h3>\n

Then we headed around the corner for dinner at Da Vincenzo. It was highly recommended, and Da Vincenzo did not disappoint. I started with some octopus and ate a delicious plate of pasta!<\/p>\n

Day Two\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Wandered through Fornillo Beach<\/h3>\n

Our goal for the day was to get on the ferry to explore Capri. However, we got sidetracked getting to the Marina that we missed the last ferry. We walked down all the way to the Fornillo beach and took so many photos! This beach has an awesome chill vibe. If you like quieter beaches, this one is for you!<\/p>\n

Checked out the Main Beach & Promenade<\/h3>\n

Since we missed our Capri ferry, we decided to explore more of Positano. This was our first time on the main beach and it was like all my dreams coming true! I have seen so many photographs of Positano before this trip that seeing it in person was so magical! Artists at work painting Positano facades, people eating along the beach, and tanning in the sun made me love Positano even more!<\/p>\n

Lunch at Bar Buca di Bacco<\/h3>\n

It was time for some lunch! We headed to bar Buca di Bacco for some fresh wood oven pizza and white wine. This was one of my favorite spots in Positano because it was a quick casual spot serving everything from breakfast, pizza, coffee and wine. It was a beautiful day outside and taking the time to just sit and relax, especially from taking photos was so nice.<\/p>\n

After lunch we wandered around checking out the shops and surrounding area keeping a metal track of all the souvenirs I wanted to buy!<\/p>\n

Private Boat Tour of the Amalfi Coast<\/h3>\n

My favorite part of the day was taking a private boat tour along the Amalfi Coast with Blue Star Positano. I wrote a in-depth review of my amazing experience here<\/a>. The views from the boat are incredible. I couldn\u2019t recommend more!<\/p>\n

Relaxed Dinner at<\/h3>\n

After our long day, a relaxed dinner was right up our alley! I loved the laid-back vibe of Saraceno D\u2019oro<\/a>. We sat outside and enjoyed our meal, and it was right down the street from our Bed & Breakfast. If you are on\u00a0Viale Pasitea check this place out!<\/p>\n

Day Three<\/h2>\n

Capri Day Trip<\/h3>\n

We finally made it to Capri! We leared from our mistakes from the previous day and woke up extra early. Instead of taking 100 picures along the way, we headed straight towards the Travel Mar ticket booth on the Positano Marina. I absolutley fell in love with Capri. The blue water is so unreal, you must see it in real life!<\/p>\n

Aperitivo at Franco\u2019s Bar<\/h3>\n

We headed straight for Franco\u2019s Bar<\/a> after we got back from Capri! It was important to head there early because we were dying to get a seat near the railing with the best views. Walking in this place felt like a NYC rooftop bar! It was very much a place to be \u2018seen\u2019 in. There was only one table in the back available when we arrived, but we still enjoyed our aperitivo. After having a drink, we saw an opening from one of the prime tables near the railing with the best views and ran to it! We really just wanted a pretty picture!<\/p>\n

After some more drinks and photos, we wandered next door to Le Sirenuse<\/a> Hotel. Inside the hotel lobby is another balcony offering the same views as Franco\u2019s Bar. The hotel concierge didn\u2019t seem to mind that we were out there. I am sure they get a lot of people coming for pictures. We took in the views and watched the sunset! And awesome way to end the day!<\/p>\n

Dinner at Lo Guarracino<\/h3>\n

Of course our night wasn\u2019t truly over unless we had more food. We headed to Lo Guarracino<\/a> which is along the water on the pathway between the main beach and Fornillo beach. The walk to the restaurant was so quiet! As a New Yorker it was a little alarming (not in a bad way, just not what I am used to).<\/p>\n

This restaurant is so unique because it feels like you\u2019re in a tree house. The view overlooked the water, but during the day might be better because you can actually see the view. At night it was just pitch black, but very relaxing. The food was tasty and had large portions that we could take away!<\/p>\n

Because this restaurant was along the water, we had to hike up 200+ steps to get back to our Bed & Breakfast. I tried to keep count but lost track after 200+! After every bend in the steps we thought they were over, but they kept coming! It was a small workout before bed!<\/p>\n

Day Four<\/h2>\n

Slow Morning<\/h3>\n

We definitely took it slow this morning. We stared off with breakfast on our terrace and began packing up. It\u2019s unbelievable the amount of things I bring with me on my trips!<\/p>\n

We planned on renting some beach chairs, but as soon as we got to beach, the sun disappeared! So instead we did our souvenir shopping! I bought some lemoncello and a lemon bag from this cute store Sapori E Profumi Di Positano.<\/strong>\u00a0The owner Sandra was so funny! I just loved her outgoing personality. She even sews her merchandise in the back and makes the lemoncello in the basement!<\/p>\n

Lunch at Collina Bakery<\/h3>\n

I heard so many great things about Collina Bakery that I had to check it out! This is an awesome spot for some coffee and food to go! They also had so many sweets I wanted to try!<\/p>\n

Custom Sandals at Artigianato Rallo<\/h3>\n

I had to get a pair of custom sandals made when in Positano! I went to 2 other shops before finding this one. The other stores weren\u2019t friendly at all and I wanted this experience to be fun! I was wearing my camera and most of these stores in Positano don\u2019t allow photography. But when I came to Artigianato Rallo<\/a>\u00a0they were immediately so nice and allowed me to take pictures. I felt comfortable and picked out my sandals finishes comfortably!<\/p>\n

Last Drinks at Hotel Poseidon<\/h3>\n

We came to Hotel Poseidon<\/a> again for drinks because we loved our experience the first time! We wanted to go somewhere near our Bed & Breakfast with pretty views! Of course we took more photos, and had too many negronis. It was the perfect way to end our Positano vacation!<\/p>\n

Thoughts<\/h2>\n

I absolutely loved Positano. I have been to places where I was looking forward to visiting and it left me disappointed, and hoped that wasn\u2019t going to be the case for Positano. thankfully it was the complete opposite. Positano exceeded my expectations. I couldn\u2019t recommend it more! I had the best time and it was so safe! Don\u2019t expect a party town though. Things get pretty quiet and there is only one \u2018nightclub\u2019 in Positano called Music on the Rocks<\/a>. If you\u2019re looking for a party town this isn\u2019t the place. I would return to Positano in a heartbeat.<\/p>\n
