Best Margaritas NYC <\/strong><\/h1>\n

After living in NYC for 6 years, I have done a fair share of trial and error to find the best margaritas in NYC <\/strong>at the best price<\/strong>. So, I have come up with a list of my five go-to spots for NYC Happy Hour Margaritas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

All these margaritas are fresh and tasty, nothing is worse than a bad-tasting margarita! So have a couple of guilt-free margaritas because they won’t be burning a hole in your pocket.<\/p>\n

1. Tortaria NYC<\/h2>\n

Location: University Place & 12th Street, Union Square<\/strong><\/p>\n

I stumbled across Tortaria NYC<\/a> randomly, and I have been coming back regularly ever since! They don’t have a Happy Hour, but the house margaritas are affordable enough at $7,<\/strong> it’s like having happy hour all night long!<\/p>\n

I also love the fish tacos, fresh guacamole, and their spicy fries.<\/p>\n

It is the busiest on weekend nights, so I’d recommend coming early or heading there during the weekday.<\/p>\n

I keep coming back for the vibe: great drinks, service, colorful interior, and fun music (I swear they play my favorite songs).<\/p>\n

2. Fonda East Village<\/h2>\n

Locations: East Village, Chelsea & Park Slope, Brooklyn<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fonda<\/a> is a great choice for their delicious happy hour margaritas and botanas. When you’re there, try the fresh guacamole. It’s so delicious and it comes with warm tortillas!<\/p>\n

I frequent the East Village location the most and know first hand that the bar fills up fast for the happy hour, so be sure to head their early. Bonus: Happy Hour is all night on Monday, cheers to that!<\/p>\n

Happy Hour Special: $7 Margaritas & $8 Botanas<\/strong><\/p>\n

When: Monday all night: 4pm – Close, Tuesday\u2013Thursday: 4pm-7pm, Friday\u2013Sunday: 4pm-6pm<\/strong><\/p>\n

3. Dos Caminos NYC<\/h2>\n

Locations: Soho, Meatpacking, Park Avenue<\/strong><\/p>\n

When I am in the mood for a frozen margarita, I head to Dos Caminos<\/a> Happy Hour in Soho. Conveniently located on Houston Street, perfect for refreshment after all your shopping!<\/p>\n

Ask to mix their frozen traditional and prickly pear margaritas for a tasty pink & beautiful swirl.<\/p>\n

Happy Hour Special: $8 Margaritas & $6 Bocaditos<\/strong><\/p>\n

When: Monday-Friday 3pm-6pm & 9pm-Close<\/strong><\/p>\n

4. Mad Dog & Beans<\/h2>\n

Location: Pearl Street, Downtown Manhattan<\/strong><\/p>\n

This Stone Street gem, Mad Dogs & Beans<\/a> is my favorite place to get drinks in downtown Manhattan.<\/p>\n

The outdoor seating is ideal, however, the happy hour is only available inside at the bar, but a $6 margarita will make up for it!<\/p>\n

My favorite dish they serve is their spicy wings. Even though it’s not a traditional Mexican dish, they are so amazing I’ll sometimes come just for the wings!<\/p>\n

Happy Hour Special: $6 Margaritas, frozen & traditional<\/strong><\/p>\n

When: Monday- Thursday 2:00 pm-5:30 pm at the bar<\/strong><\/p>\n

5. Black Ant NYC<\/h2>\n

Location: 2nd Avenue & 3rd Street<\/strong><\/p>\n

Get your cameras out, this place has quite an interesting menu! Named Black Ant for a reason, they are known for their unique dishes including grasshoppers, and topping your margaritas with black ant salt (yes real ants).<\/p>\n

However, as crazy as the menu may seem, the food is actually delicious and inventive. You’d have no idea the salt was black ant salt unless someone told you.<\/p>\n

If you aren’t feeling the insects, you can always ask for regular salt and opt for more traditional Mexican dishes.<\/p>\n

When: All Week 4 pm-7 pm<\/strong><\/p>\n
