Over the years, we\u2019ve visited New York\u2014especially Manhattan<\/a>\u2014many times! It\u2019s one of our favourite cities in the US<\/a> and there is so much to do once you\u2019ve arrived in the Big Apple.<\/p>\n

Make sure you don\u2019t miss the world-renowned Broadway shows that are dotted around Times Square. If you\u2019re unfamiliar, it\u2019s best to describe Broadway like the West End in London: it\u2019s an area where all the iconic shows are located.<\/p>\n

So, to help you get the most out of your visit to New York, I\u2019m sharing the top Broadway shows that you can\u2019t miss.<\/p>\n

1.) Moulin Rouge! The Musical<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We absolutely loved watching Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Broadway and it\u2019s one show you won\u2019t want to miss when visiting New York.<\/p>\n

This show follows the love story of Christian and Satine (who is part of the Moulin Rouge Cabaret in Paris) and the production is out-of-this-world.<\/p>\n

The show is so fun-filled and energetic, when it\u2019s over you feel like you\u2019ve just left the biggest party in Manhattan. We chose the Can Can! Table Seating that\u2019s located right in the middle of the action, it was so incredible.<\/p>\n

2.) The Book of Mormon<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Book of Mormon is one of the top Broadway shows in New York: it\u2019s crass, shocking and laugh-out-loud funny. It follows the life of two Elders (Price and Cunningham) who are sent to Uganda to spread the word.<\/p>\n

5.) Wicked<\/strong><\/h3>\n

If you\u2019re a fan of The Wizard of Oz, you won\u2019t want to miss Wicked on Broadway. That being said, even if you\u2019ve not seen The Wizard of Oz, Wicked is still a treat.<\/p>\n

Wicked delves deep into the lives and story of the witches of Oz, whilst belting out some incredible musical numbers like \u2018Defying Gravity\u2019 and \u2018Popular\u2019 which so many of us are familiar with.<\/p>\n

Wicked is an incredible Broadway musical and well worth booking when visiting New York City.<\/p>\n

I absolutely love the puppetry they use for all the animals on stage; just watch out for the giraffe that occasionally reaches down into the stall seats. His neck will reach right down to you!<\/p>\n

The musical follows the life of Juliet (from Shakespeare\u2019s play; Romeo and Juliet) after she doesn\u2019t take her own life. Not only that, it mixes a whole heap of popular songs from people like Britney Spears and Katy Perry.<\/p>\n
