I think I just fell in love! \ud83d\ude04\u00a0There are loads of beautiful places in Europe but every so often, some places creeps up on you and totally blows your expectations right out of the water. That places recently for me was Bavaria in Germany.<\/p>\n

This part of Germany is known for its castles… and I guess, the Alps but as we were visiting in summer – couple with the fact that I’m obsessed with castles and palaces; all I had on my mind was the many palaces and castles to be found in Bavaria (not least of which is the fairytale-esque\u00a0castle of Neuschwanstein – which is ironically the only castle I can spell and kinda pronounce correctly).<\/p>\n

Seriously though, if you’re into castles – this is the place to be (you’ll see why further down) but I guess what made this part of Germany so special to me (beyond even how much the castles were so much more impressive than I’d originally anticipated) was the absolutely stunning natural sights here too.<\/p>\n

I know I didn’t arrive for the Alps but they’re sooooo\u00a0impressive in summer. And then there are those perfectly still turquoise lakes, gloriously lush forests and cabins that look like they’re straight out of a fairytale. Seriously, there were some ‘pinch me’ moments to be had here.<\/p>\n

Anyway, I just wanted to quickly share some photos from our time in Bavaria to show you exactly what I mean (you may already have seen some on our Instagram<\/a> or perhaps even just in our stories).
