Toronto<\/a> has a pretty buzzing coffee culture, It’s one of those cities that has so many choices if you’re looking for a tasty caffeine fix. Now, one of the things I love about Toronto’s Coffee scene is that it’s so diverse. From tiny little spots to hip hangouts, you can easily get some of the best coffee in Toronto just by wandering the city streets.<\/p>\n

With that in mind, I wanted to share some of the places to get the best coffee in Toronto. Whether you like a;\u00a0Cappuccino,\u00a0Macchiato or a tasty Affogato (that’s between a dessert and a coffee), you’ll find a spot you love in the city, I’m\u00a0sure. \u2615<\/p>\n

1.) For a hip place: Balzac’s<\/strong><\/h3>\n

So Balzac’s has to be one of the more hip and cool spots to grab a coffee. That being said, it’s not all style over substance, they definitely serve up some of the best coffee in Toronto, too.<\/p>\n

Perched in the Distillery District<\/a>, it’s a great spot to visit to\u00a0grab their yummy\u00a0coffee with maples syrup. I promise you, if you have a sweet tooth, you’ll love this one. \ud83d\udc9b<\/p>\n

2.) For a Chic Coffee Place: Istanbul Cafe & Espresso<\/strong><\/h3>\n

It’s not just the coffee that makes Istanbul Cafe & Espresso<\/a> one of the spots with the best coffee in Toronto… it’s the people! The whole team are amazing and so super friendly.<\/p>\n

3.) For a quality place:\u00a0<\/strong> Dineen Coffee Company<\/h3>\n

Thankfully, there are three Dineen Coffee spots dotted around Toronto, meaning there’s always a spot relatively close by. Personally, my favourite is on\u00a0Gerrard Street East but there’s another great spot on\u00a0Yonge Street, too.<\/p>\n

Prices can be a little higher than other spots, but it’s well worth it if you want some good quality coffee.<\/p>\n

4.) For a relaxing place: Remarkable Bean<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Remarkable Bean<\/a> is one of those spots you visit that does both amazing coffee and tea. Not one or the other! For me, this is a total winner as (being British) I live for a good cuppa tea.<\/p>\n

Based on Queen Street E (near Balmy Beach), it’s a great little spot to visit for some of the best coffee in Toronto in a totally relaxing environment.<\/p>\n

5.) For a coffee and games place: Snakes & Lattes<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Snakes & Lattes has 3 joints in Toronto, all super cool and about spending time in the cafe itself. It’s exactly the thing I love most about going for coffee.<\/p>\n

With hundreds of board games to choose from (and some tasty coffee), you can easily spend a few hours here… even more, if you’re competitive.<\/p>\n

6.) For a Scandinavian Place: Fika<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Yeah, you might be in Toronto but once you step into Fika<\/a> you’ll be forgiven for thinking you’ve landed in Scandinavia\u00a0– it just feels so Swedish (if that makes sense).<\/p>\n

Fika is definitely\u00a0up there as one of the spots with the best coffee in Toronto. Just make sure to try their white chocolate with lavender coffee (it’s sooooo good).<\/p>\n

7.) For a cosy place: Jimmy’s Coffee<\/strong><\/h3>\n

So, Jimmy’s Coffee is the type of place you go for amazing quality\u00a0coffee that the baristas care about.<\/p>\n

Jimmy’s Coffee is dotted across 6 different sites in Toronto (which you can see, here<\/a>). Though, my favourites have to be the one on Gerrard St and\u00a0Baldwin St.<\/p>\n

8.) For the best blends: Cherry Bomb Coffee<\/strong><\/h3>\n

One of the things that Cherry Bomb Coffee<\/a> do so well is their blends. I swear they have a coffee for every taste.<\/p>\n

Whilst here, make sure to try their Cherry Bomb Blend that’s tastes pretty spicy and rich.<\/p>\n

Oh yeah, don’t forget, this spot is cash only.<\/p>\n

9.) For a funky place: Rooster Coffee House<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Rooster Coffee House<\/a> has about 3 different spots to grab a coffee in Toronto, with one of my favourite at King Street East (between St Lawrence Market and the Distillery District).<\/p>\n

10.) For an espresso place: Dark Horse Espresso<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Based in 6 locations across Toronto (see here<\/a>), the\u00a0Dark Horse Espresso Bar has some of the best coffee in Toronto – especially if you love a mighty espresso.<\/p>\n

They also do a mean cold brew coffee, which is pretty darn nice on a warm summer day!<\/p>\n
