Sydney is an incredible city to see and easily one of the best places in Australia<\/a> to explore when you visit. Now, with a stunner of a city, you’ll no doubt be on the search for some of the best views in Sydney to view the city from?<\/p>\n

This is exactly why I wanted to share a few of my favourites after our visit. <\/p>\n

You see, Sydney is home to some of the most iconic landmarks in the world (here’s looking at you Opera House). Plus, it’s home to some of the most impressive beaches in Australia<\/a>, too.  So, it’s pretty safe to say that finding a great view in the city whether you’re lounging about on the sand, or high up on the bridge! <\/p>\n

Oh yeah, and remember, you don’t have to scale to dizzying heights to find a good viewpoint. This is especially true in Sydney. There are loads of places that offer some of the best views in Sydney and you won’t have to climb even one step! <\/p>\n

With that in mind, I wanted to share some of the best views in Sydney for you to see. Have an epic time down under.<\/p>\n

1.) Sydney Harbour Bridge<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"Best<\/a><\/p>\n

The great thing about climbing the length of the Sydney Harbour Bridge is that you see so much because the angle of your view constantly changes and is totally unique.<\/p>\n

\"Best<\/a><\/p>\n

You see, scaling the Sydney Harbour Bridge is easily one of the most hair-raising but totally one of the best views in Sydney to see.<\/p>\n

Though be warned, you might wanna give this a miss if you’re scared of heights or get vertigo. <\/p>\n

For what it’s worth, the view from walking the footpath of the bridge is still stunning, too. So, don’t feel left out if you do get vertigo.<\/p>\n

2.) Luna Park<\/strong><\/h3>\n

That entry into Luna Park<\/a> is one of the most terrifying things I’ve seen in the city! There’s something so eerie about its massive glaring face! Though, that might be just me.<\/p>\n

Now, Luna Park has unbeatable views of the city from the opposite side of Harbour Bridge, and the walkway along the waterfront means you can view the city from there, too.<\/p>\n

Oh yeah, and don’t forget to take a ride on the Ferris wheel! It’s another of the best views in Sydney; and fun, too! <\/p>\n

3.) From the bay<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Step back from the hustle and bustle of Sydney and take some time to get on the water. After all, it’s one of the easiest ways to find the best views of Sydney.<\/p>\n

Now, you can go kayaking in the bay (if you feel fit enough) and it’s totally incredible. Though be warned, you might not be able to take your camera on this one.<\/p>\n

Alternatively, you can take a ferry over to Manly and see the views of the skyline, islands and rugged coastline from the boat.<\/p>\n

The views of course vary depending on the route, but if you choose right you can pass right under the Harbour Bridge, or around the side of the Opera House (we did this one).<\/p>\n

4.) Sydney Opera House<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We all love an epic panoramic view, but there are moments when you’ll find yourself totally awestruck a lot closer to your subject. Seeing the Sydney Opera House was one of those moments for me.<\/p>\n

Wandering around Circular Quay, you’ll be treated with some of the best views in Sydney of the Opera House itself. <\/p>\n

Also, speaking of unmissable experiences, make sure to catch a performance, too. We went to see the famous Giuseppe Verdi opera, Rigoletto<\/em>.<\/p>\n

I couldn’t get the song “La donna \u00e8 mobile<\/em><\/a>” out of my head for weeks!<\/p>\n

5.) Botanic Gardens<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"Best<\/a><\/p>\n

If you want a great shot of Sydney Opera House from a distance, the Botanic Gardens has one of the best views in Sydney. <\/p>\n

The view of the world-famous city Opera House, framed by the plant life of the gardens is totally gorgeous.<\/p>\n

It’s the perfect place to take a moment to relax and really soak up that Sydney sunshine, too.<\/p>\n

6.) Cockatoo Island<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Cockatoo Island is one of the slightly different things worth checking out in Sydney.<\/p>\n

It’s a former prison grounds and a UNESCO World Heritage site with views of the old convict buildings as well as the Sydney skyline and Harbour Bridge. It’s well worth a visit if you want some of the best views in Sydney that aren’t quite conventional. <\/p>\n

No Opera House views, though.<\/p>\n

7.) George’s Head<\/strong><\/h3>\n

At George’s Head, you kinda can’t beat the 180-degree views of Sydney and the bay from here.<\/p>\n

Being a little further out of the city, you get to take in some of the gorgeous surrounding landscapes as well as those familiar city sights. It’s perfect if you want a little venture from the CBD district itself. <\/p>\n

8.) Cremorne Reserve<\/strong><\/h3>\n

For something different and to soak up a bit of nature, head over to the North Shore of Sydney Harbour.<\/p>\n

The Cremorne Reserve has some of the best views in Sydney of the harbour. Plus, it gives you the opportunity to step out of the city for a while and enjoy Sydney away from the big attractions and the noise of the city centre.<\/p>\n

9.) Sydney Tower Eye<\/strong><\/h3>\n

For a fantastic aerial view of the city, you can’t beat the Sydney Tower Eye. It’s one of the highest and best views in Sydney from high above. <\/p>\n

With its glass-floor Skywalk 286 metres above the ground, you can look directly down at the bustling streets and the city’s main attractions, too.<\/p>\n

You can also see beyond Sydney towards the Blue Mountains on a clear, crisp day. <\/p>\n

10.) Helicopter<\/strong><\/h3>\n

If the Sydney Tower Eye just doesn’t seem high enough, a helicopter tour across Sydney is called for.<\/p>\n

Whilst on your tour, you’ll glimpse the city from above and also take in some of the wider bay and region. Tours can range in prices depending on how long you want your tour to be and if you’re willing to share a helicopter with a few others.<\/p>\n

I know Sydney Heli Tours have a range of different flights. This all means you can find the right one and budget for you. <\/p>\n
