Ever since our trip to Slovakia in winter<\/a>, I’ve somehow managed to constantly stumble upon so many photos of Slovenia online (thank you Pinterest<\/a>) and a couple of weeks ago, whole discussing my need to visit Slovenia very soon, we received a rather delightful invite to come on a wine tour of the country.<\/p>\n

First off – a visit to Slovenia was already gonna make me a happy chappy but then, you throw wine in the mix and I was pretty much bouncing off the walls.<\/p>\n

If you’ve been on our Snapchat over the last couple of days (it’s @ HandLuggageOnly), you’ll no doubt have seen A LOT of said wine-indulgence and although I’ve tried to put some photos up on Instagram<\/a>, I still had far too many that I wanted to share with you well in advance of putting the full blog posts up.<\/p>\n

We’ve left Slovenia now with a promise to return (we’re in Ibiza at the moment and will be for the next couple of weeks – still feels strange to think I was in Slovenia and London not that many hours ago) but enough yammering from me – here are some of the photos I took over the last couple of days in Maribor<\/a> (Slovenia’s second-largest city), Ptuj (arguably the prettiest and definitely the oldest town in Slovenia) and a couple or so from Ljubljana (it’s capital).<\/p>\n
