This is a quick one!<\/p>\n

The afternoon actually started off in Muizenberg<\/a>…<\/p>\n

\"Photo<\/a><\/p>\n

…swiftly followed by a visit to Boulder’s Beach to see the penguins<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"How<\/a><\/p>\n

And although a visit to the Cape Peninsula<\/a> was ultimately where we were headed to, a little stopover in Simon’s Town is definitely worth it on your drive outside of Cape Town.<\/p>\n

\"An<\/a><\/p>\n

To be fair, if you already stopped by to see the penguins, you’re already in Simon’s Town so you might as well take a little jaunt around the town and perhaps even stop over for lunch.<\/p>\n

\"An<\/a><\/p>\n

\"An<\/a><\/p>\n

We picked a place right on the harbour which was perfect for watching the water sports enthusiasts (and shark cage divers) get ready to head out…<\/p>\n

The food was a bit hit and miss though.<\/p>\n

\"An<\/a><\/p>\n

…okay-ish prawns.<\/p>\n

\"An<\/a><\/p>\n

Delicious melted Camembert…<\/p>\n

\"An<\/a><\/p>\n

…and even better salad<\/p>\n

\"An<\/a><\/p>\n

Pipping hot fish cakes…<\/p>\n

\"An<\/a><\/p>\n

\"An<\/a><\/p>\n

… and a brilliant seafood platter!<\/p>\n

\"An<\/a><\/p>\n

Given the mish-mash of the mains and starters, we decided to skip dessert and hit the road.<\/p>\n
