MAURO ICARDI has reportedly been banned from driving for a staggering 73 YEARS after his new girlfriend landed him in hot water.
The former Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan striker was caught behind the wheel after a video posted by partner China Suarez attracted the attention of authorities in Argentina.
The footage appeared to show singer, model and actress Suarez hanging out of the window of a car being driven by Icardi just outside Buenos Aires.
Argentina’s Ministry of Transport subsequently launched an investigation and discovered the 33-year-old’s driving licence had expired.
Officials then announced that Icardi had been provisionally disqualified from driving, with the ban reportedly running until the end of the CENTURY.
The ministry said on X: “We found that Icardi’s driving license had expired.
“For this reason, we have ordered his provisional disqualification… the player will need to be assessed to determine his fitness to drive.
“Road safety allows for no exception.”
But Icardi hit back with an X-rated response.
He wrote: “Think about fixing the roads to improve traffic flow instead of wasting time writing tweets and scratching your balls.”

Icardi is now reportedly challenging the suspension in the hope of getting it overturned.
The striker’s Italian driving licence, which was said to be valid until 2029, has also reportedly been cancelled as part of the row.
Icardi responded: “I want to know how you have managed to cancel my Italian driving licence.”
The Galatasaray star is no stranger to controversy away from the pitch following his infamous relationship with ex-wife Wanda Nara.
Icardi became close to fellow Argentine Maxi Lopez after moving to Italy, with the pair spending time together while playing for Sampdoria.
But Icardi later became romantically involved with Lopez’s then-wife Nara following the couple’s separation in 2013.
Nara and Icardi married the following year, although both have repeatedly denied their relationship began before her split from Lopez.
The bitter fallout generated huge controversy in Argentina and overshadowed Icardi’s international career despite his prolific form at club level.
Icardi and Nara subsequently endured their own acrimonious break-up and remain embroiled in a legal battle over their divorce.
The striker has since moved on with actress and singer Suarez, whose social media video has now inadvertently landed him in his latest off-field drama.
