THEY were vying for the same girl inside the ITV2 villa, and it seems things have only got worse between Lorenzo Alessi and Kavan Murphy since.
The two Love Island finalists don’t appear to be on talking terms, as Kavan has mysteriously unfollowed Lorenzo on Instagram, fans have spotted.
Lorenzo has not, as of yet, returned the favour and is still followed by Kavan’s girlfriend Jasmine Muller, whom he had a brief romance with on the show.
Sources close to Kavan confirmed to The Sun that the reality star unfollowed his co-star after ‘drifting apart’ following filming.
“Kavan has unfollowed Lorenzo, they drifted apart following the show and haven’t really been in the same circle,” they said.
Taking to TikTok, some fans pointed out that Kavan’s unfollow comes just a day after Lorenzo commented on Jasmine’s newest Instagram post.
As Jasmine looked ahead to her birthday this weekend, show pal Lorenzo commented: “Libraaaaa”. While Kavan also commented: “She sexyyy”.
Now, many are convinced Lorenzo’s comment is what sparked Kavan to unfollow the star – who won the show earlier this summer with co-star Julia.
“I would do the same thing too cause he’s crossing a boundary,” one TikTok user said of Lorenzo’s comments.
Another defended Lorenzo as they wrote: “I don’t think Lorenzo has been moving weird… like, he’s exactly who he was on the show. Doesn’t take things too seriously, cares about his friends.”
A third asked: “I wonder what the final nail was, surely not this comment.. Lorenzo is entitled to comment on Jas’ pics”.
Several other users also spotted that Kavan’s brother and co-star, Aidan, has also unfollowed Lorenzo.
