A COMEDIAN and regular on Mock the Week has revealed that her father has sadly passed away.
They took to Instagram to share the devastating news, as well as pen a touching tribute.
Tiffany Stevenson posted a series of photos with her late father, including a mixture of snaps of them together and throwbacks to his youth.
In the first photo Tiffany smiles alongside her dad while holding a bouquet of flowers from her wedding day.
Meanwhile her father, who has not been publicly named, grinned with a drink in hand.
Another photo shows Tiffany’s dad blowing out a birthday candle, surrounded by loved ones.
Tiffany’s emotional statement about his passing read: “I lost my beautiful, funny, talented, unique, proud, and clever Father on Tuesday.
“He sang in a band for many years, he organised Live Aid when he was at Wembley, loved a game of darts and later in his life when most would retire he ran a whole comedy gig with me.
“He loved comedy, he loved comedians, he loved the fringe, he loved being in the thick of it and he loved me. I wanted all the comedians @oldropecomedy to know how much joy they brought him.
“All the laughs, the pints, the stories. Alongside mum he rooted for me always. He got to see me do many amazing things and he got to tell me many amazing things about all my Scottish family and all the rockstars coming through Wembley. “
Tiffany finished the message off by sending her father love and expressing gratitude that he is no longer in pain.
She concluded: “I don’t know what more to say except that I have everything to say and find myself unable to say anything. I love you dad and I know you aren’t in pain anymore.“
Tiffany has appeared as a guest panelist on Mock the Week many times over the years.
Her first feature on the show was back in 2014, alongside Josh Widdicombe, Miles Jupp, Andy Parsons, and Rob Beckett.
Tiffany’s most recent comedy show was called Husband Material which satirically delved into life in your mid-forties as someone newly married and why Tiffany felt she’d make a better husband than her spouse.
