STRICTLY Come Dancing’s Icons Week spoiler has been leaked just hours before the BBC results show hits screens.
The BBC One dance series has always pre-recorded the Sunday night episode shortly after the live Saturday programme, meaning spoilers are often let slip.
The glitzy Icons Week episode saw the celebs take on the personas of everyone from Elton John to David Bowie.
At the end of proceedings, Paralympic champ Dame Sarah Storey, 48, and partner Julian Caillon, propped up the bottom of the leaderboard with 21 points.
Meanwhile, tipping the other end of the scale, celebs Cach Mercer and Jaime Winstone came in top with 34 points.
The Sun is choosing not to reveal the outcome of the dance-off.
However, the result, leaked on X by Dave Thorp and another user, has already left long-running fans of the BBC programme divided.
One took to X to write: “BBC need to put it all on one night. I look at spoilers because we like to get on with watching something else on our Sunday evening lol”
A second posted: “I’m absolutely gutted for the couple that left. As I thought it was the song and theme which sealed their fate as the song didn’t match dance style.”
A third put: “The correct person left IMHO, if we’re going off last night’s dances alone”.
One then added: “I’ve been expecting that to be honest”.
A social media user who leaked the result then suggested things might be different during the next series.
They commented: “Team were talking about how they are cracking down on spoilers and introducing NDAs from next series.
“They have already stopped the TikTokers from doing it”.
In a show shock on Saturday, Delta Goodrem missed the episode due to a rib injury.
Meanwhile, fans have suggested show favourite Dani Dyer is at risk this week due to a worrying show “curse”.
Others think Dame Sarah Storey’s chances in the sequin-studded series have been “sabotaged” due to the song choice for her Tango.
Bookies have today confirmed to The Sun EastEnders alum Lacey Turner is the star tipped to win – despite not getting a score over 30 yet.
She is ranked with odds of 6/4 to pick up the Glitter Ball trophy but Tabby Stoecker is now the clear second-favourite at 5/1.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes told us: “This year’s Strictly race is still wide open, and with Lacey still yet to live up to her favourite tag, we wouldn’t be surprised to see the chasing pack close the gap in the next couple of weeks.”
