CODGER’S ROCK (2.50 Sedgefield, nap)
Is ready to roll. Irish trainer Cian Collins has a good record on this side of the Irish Sea and this five-year-old is improving over hurdles. He put in a decent effort at Galway last month before being just denied at Clonmel 17 days ago. He has enough pace for this trip and the booking of Sean Bowen takes the eye.
KI WOO (3.20 Sedgefield, nb)
Can stay the distance in the Durham National. He had a good summer with a win at Cartmel over 3m2f before going close in hot company at Uttoxeter last time out in June. He relishes a marathon and can go close.
CURIOUS MRS FOX (3.50 Sedgefield, treble)
Doesn’t know how to run a bad race and has been in the frame on her past three runs. The handicapper has been fair with just a 1lb rise despite that excellent effort and this looks a good winning chance.
