Here’s erling Haaland BLOCKED from speaking just hours after bombshell Man City verdict

ERLING HAALAND has been pulled from Norway’s Nations League press conference after his club Manchester City were found guilty of 114 rule breaches.

The Premier League giants have reportedly now launched an appeal and remain confident they will beat the charges.

City have not yet been handed a punishment for the charges.

But a panel will review options that include points deductions, title stripping, and even Premier League EXPULSION.

Haaland, 26, was set to meet with the media ahead of Norway‘s clash against Portugal, as detailed by the Norwegian Football Federation.

Instead, the NFF have opted to shield the striker from any questions, according to TV 2.

In a message circulating the media, the NFF media manager Morten Skjonsberg said: “We are making changes to tomorrow’s press conference. (Stale) Solbakken, (Fredrik) Aursnes and (Andreas) Schjelderup will be on the ground floor.”

Haaland made the £51.5million move from Borussia Dortmund in 2022 and arrived after the window that is the focal point of the 114 charges.

But the shock statement will have sent the Prem club into disarray as they face their biggest crisis to date.

While City are expected to appeal the sanctions no matter what, if the Prem deem it proportionate, fans could watch their biggest stars exit the Etihad.

What were Man City charged with?

MAN CITY have been found guilty of all but one of the 115 charges they were initially hit with.

Those charges were upped to 130 and fit into the following six categories…

  • Failing to give accurate financial information over sponsorship revenue, related parties and operating costs between 2009-10 and 2017/18. Total charges: 50
  • Failing to provide full details of managerial remuneration between 2009/10 and 2012/13. Total charges 8
  • Failing to provide full details of player remuneration between 2010/11 and 2015/16. Total charges 12
  • Failing to comply with Uefa Licencing and Financial Fair Play regulations between 2013/14 and 2017/18. Total charges 5
  • Breaching Premier League Profitability and Sustainability rules between 2015/16 and 2017/18. Total charges 25
  • Failing to co-operate with the Premier League investigation between 2018/19 and 2022/23. Total charges 30
  • Total charges: 130

If City are relegated, Haaland could be one of the first through the door, despite having eight years left on his 10-year, £500,000-a-week deal.

In the meantime, it seems likely that Norway’s top-goalscorer will start against Portugal in Group D on Sunday.

Haaland bagged two goals in Norway’s 3-2 victory over Scandinavian rivals Denmark in their tournament’s opener.

Former City winger Oscar Bobb scored the first goal.

The Vikings will take on Cristiano Ronaldo‘s side, who are level with them at the top of the group.

The Ballon d’Or-winning star had his goal chalked off in their 1-0 win over Wales, but was saved by Al-Nassr team-mate Joao Felix, who scored in the 22nd minute.
