A MAJOR UK holiday provider has confirmed it will be cutting jobs in a huge shake-up.
A company-wide restructure took place back in June, and now a number of roles are set to be axed.

Carnival UK, the parent company behind a number of leading cruise lines, is expecting to make a series of redundancies of a “single-digit percentage”.
The job cuts will happen across its P&O Cruises and Cunard brands.
A spokesperson said: “In June, Carnival UK announced organisational changes to support operational efficiency and future growth across P&O Cruises and Cunard.
“Exact numbers are still being finalised but it is anticipated that there will be a reduction in headcount of a single-digit percentage.”
Consultations with staff first began in June, with Carnival UK swiftly announcing that it would be introducing cross-company teams for the two cruise lines.
The cruise giant also underwent a major company reshuffling, with a number of senior executives moving into new roles.
The restructuring caused concern for travel agents, however the company has previously affirmed that its support for trade partners will not change.
According to Carnival UK’s economic impact report, published in 2025, Carnival UK had 160,000 team members from 150 countries in 2023.
From this data, even if job cuts are at a “single-digit percentage” of just 1 per cent, this could mean the potential job losses of up to 1,600 employees.
The Southampton-based company is a large employer for the local area.
