Apple’s long-awaited foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, was revealed at the brand’s “Surprise and Shine” September event. It’s the most expensive iPhone ever made, with its price starting at £1,999/$1,999 for 256GB of storage and going up to £3,199/$3,199 for 2TB. It’s a lot, yes – but in some respects, the pricing seems fair enough. […]
2026’s big iPhone launch – “Surprise and Shine” – took place on Wednesday, 9 September. Apple announced three new models then: the iPhone 18 Pro, the Pro Max and the foldable iPhone Duo. However, we’re expecting three more models to launch in spring 2027: the base iPhone 18, the budget-friendly 18e and the Air 2. […]
My view on which smartphone works best for me has fundamentally shifted in the last few weeks. And it all started with a lazy Sunday afternoon Google search that changed how I look at screens forever. After yet another quick-onset headache, I vented to Gemini without even thinking: “I find myself getting a headache way […]
There’s good news for those eagerly awaiting Apple’s 9 September “Surprise and Shine” event, at which we expect the brand’s first foldable iPhone to debut. Gurman made the assertion in an interview with Tom’s Guide. The news is surprising as, while there have been plenty of leaks […]

The footage shows someone handling the new phone in the hero Dark Cherry colourway. Next to it on a display stand is the Light Blue colour variant. The phones are due to debut at […]
It’s the eve of Apple’s September launch event, where the iPhone 18 range as well as the highly anticipated iPhone Ultra (or iPhone Fold) will debut. While the firm’s first-ever foldable phone is super interesting, much of the news leading up to the event has been about the colourways. In particular, those of the iPhone […]
What will Apple name its first foldable? Thanks to supply chain and wider industry leaks, we know almost everything there is to know about the model. We expect Apple to announce it at its regular autumn launch event, now officially taking place today, on 9 September, with the tagline “Surprise and Shine”. The folding phone’s […]
Apple will announce its first ever foldable phone later today, and it’s expected to be called the iPhone Duo. Terrible name aside, it’ll likely set the terms for the foldable market for the foreseeable future. That’s the Apple effect. Regardless of its almost inevitable success (although its likely sky-high pricing could have an effect), I […]
