Roidal Swimwear 2019 Collection: Love At First Sight

roidal swimwear 2019

The wait is over. Roidal Swimwear 2019 collection is here and, yes, you guessed it, you’re going to love every print, every cute bikini and swimsuit… they are too pretty not to fall in love with them. Let us tell you how it felt like love at first sight for us. Our first impressions when we discovered Roidal Swimwear 2019 collection When we visited Roidal’s headquarters in Spain for a tour around their workshop a few months ago, we had access to the collection. As you know, UK Swimwear was one of the first Roidal stockists in the UK. Before Roidal was introduced to the UK, many women wondered around, looking where to buy Roidal swimwear and beachwear. The story of this Spanish high-end brand is similar to ours. We both are family-owned companies, we sell our styles all around the world and, most important, we put all our energy into what we love the most: stunning designer swimwear and beachwear. Our visit to Roidal included a tour around their workshop, where we could see in person the precise and hard work behind each of their designs. It was amazing to see all the process, from the design of the print, to the final stitches. As you can imagine, we were thrilled to chat with the women and men who create such stunning designs with their own hands. And then, it’s the prints. Look at them. Aren’t them amazing? Five Amazing prints in Roidal 2019 Swimwear we love: Roidal Blue Flower collection Blue Flower is the most eye-catching print in the whole Roidal 2019 swimwear and beachwear collection. The style in the picture is the Blue Flower Bluma Swimsuit, which is a new swimsuit type for us. We love the double contrast: between the white, the turquoise and the cobalt blue; and, at the same time, the contrast between the floral print and the darker background. The secret behind Roidal’s perfect placement prints And talking about prints, let us share with you a secret Roidal shared with us when visit them in Spain. Roidal adapts the size of each print to every style, to make sure it looks its best. This way, the size of each petal in a Roidal Blue Flower bikini will be smaller than the same exact detail in the print in the matching kaftan. Interesting, right? What is more, Roidal adapts the print to each size and, even, cup size, so that the placement print always looks the same. When you have your Roidal swimsuit in your hands, why don’t you take some time to appreciate all the work behind it? Roidal Amapola collection Amapola is another amazing floral print in Roidal 2019 swimwear collection. It’s a classic floral style, ideal for those who want a timeless style they can wear season after season. It looks elegant and sophisticated when worn with the right beachwear. You can choose to pair Roidal Amapola swimsuits and bikinis with beachwear in a matching print, which is available and ready to buy at UK Swimwear, or plain beachwear in one of the colours in the Amapola print: White, navy, orange, green, turquoise, fuchsia, etc. Roidal Coral collection Coral is one of those prints you have to see in real. The photographs don’t do justice here. This print looks even better when you look at them in person. You’ll have to trust us when we say that this is the most elegant print in the Roidal 2019 collection. This sleeveless sun dress is one or your favourite Roidal beachwear styles. Take a look at the whole collection to see more amazing styles with this rich coral and star nautical pattern. Roidal Zebra Palm collection This print puts together three of the top prints: Leaf prints Animal prints: leopard, snakeskin and zebra prints are always on trend, but these days they are especially hot. Monochrome: Although not technically a print, monochrome swimwear has been hot for a few seasons already and it’s come to stay. We love the look of the bandeau swimsuit above, which is one of Roidal’s signature looks. It adapts to all cup sizes and removable straps, so it feels comfortable and it’s ideal to sunbath, too. Roidal Paradise collection If you lose it for a colourful print, you’re going to love this range. It screams summer and it’s ideal for both light and dark skin tones, precisely because of the orange and red tones. A sophisticated print we swear by! Roidal Classic Styles, back to stock: In addition to all the new prints, we have re-stocked some of our essential best-selling styles. You may not know this, but Roidal is one of our top brands in the UK and the US and Brasil, which is the name of Roidal’s Ombre effect swimwear and beachwear range, is always in the list on the top seller styles. We have stocked up on Roidal Brasil bikinis and swimsuits and, of course, its matching beachwear is ready to buy as well. So, what do you think of Roidal Swimwear 2019 collection? It Came From The Jungle

came jungle

If I said to you that one of the most exciting ranges of swimwear this season was on our site and it had arrived to a fantastic fanfare, where would you guess it was from? Italy? France? Maybe Portugal or Spain? That last one is close, but no. How about Peru? It Came From The Jungle Aguaclara Swimwear and Beachwear is a South American brand that’s rocketed in popularity over the past few weeks! And why not? Some on the very best emerging bands are coming from this area of the world nowadays. Poko Pano, a Brazilian brand, has been with us for a number of seasons now and people love their swimwear. It seems Aguaclara are going to heading a very popular new movement of great bikinis and swimsuits! Their sudden jump to the top of the swimwear world might have something to do with their superb quality, but let’s not overlook their designing. Their range is built on vibrant colours and dazzlingly complex patterns. Everything they have to offer has been touched by their homeland. Sumptuous jungle-ready emeralds and animal patterns. There happens to be few minimalist designs for those who like to keep their look simple, but Aguaclara is designing for a particular style and chic. Designs like Selva Virgen from Aguaclara blend those greens and animal prints. Leopard is always popular, but you don’t tend to see it as a part of a larger zoological ensemble. It’s a very refreshing site to see such a cacophony of colour! And check out that brown shoulder clasp. An adjustable feature that can sit on either shoulder and create an asymmetry in your costume. Breaking down symmetry can be the perfect way to make your costume stand out beautifully. Let’s Take A Look At Aguaclara Swimwear And Their More Simplistic Designs Paraiso is Spanish for “paradise”. Not a bad name for this piece. Aguaclara swimwear is elegant and a pleasure to wear, and on a beautiful beach, what could be closer to paradise? Playa Mediterranea. It has a Mediterranean appeal, but the diamonds and circles look more Mayan or Aztec to me. Peru’s always had a great tradition of art and you can see Aguaclara’s designers taking advantage of that. All in all, this new collection is a beautiful mixture. Mostly, it’s a brand for people who love their colours, and it’s definitely ready for the beach first. See the rest of the collection here, and tell us what you think.

In The Heat Of The Night – Red Swimwear

heat night 8211

There’s nothing quite like red. Little black dresses have their special own charm, of course, but the colour red has a certain powerful attraction and red swimwear is not an exception. Gottex loves their classic designs, so a swimsuit that’s almost completely unadorned is nothing new for them. It’s the best way to make a garment timeless, but never have they released a simple red swimsuit like this one before. We don’t know why this is, but thankfully, whatever has been keeping it from their range is no longer a problem. This incredible swimsuit looks absolutely fantastic on and unlike a lot of swimsuits you see nowadays, this isn’t a garment you have to select it based on skin tone or body shape. Why is red swimwear so popular? Red is popular and complimentary no matter what. On olive skin tones, it has a smokey and exotic feel; on darker, African skin it has a startling sense contrast and appears sharp and powerful; on the fairer woman, it’s warm and brings a rosiness and vitality to the wearer. It’s a versatile piece of design and it has an essence that far too much swimwear lacks passion. Sugary pinks and sunshine yellows are the provinces of beachside fashion at the moment, and whilst they’re beautiful too, there’s something more intense and serious about blood red that you simply miss out on with other colours. The perfect swimsuit for a tropical destination with sweltering day times and fiery sunsets.  Other red swimwear styles we love: At UK Swimwear, we love a good style of red swimwear, especially when you can match it with lovely beachwear. Black, white, navy and beige are the best colours to contrast with red swimwear. They all make red stand out. Floral and animal print beachwear are a perfect match for your red swimsuits and red bikinis. Here you have a few more red swimwear styles we swear by! Buried Treasure, The Roidal Ari Pareo

buried treasure roidal

Roidal’s designs have always been known for their simplicity. Almost all of their bikinis and swimsuits are simple and unadorned, versatile and easy to pair with other items. Complexity doesn’t always work with swimwear. The smaller amounts of material in bikinis often leave no room for big and bold patterns. But that doesn’t have to be the case. And it isn’t the case here. Roidal Ari Pareo Is A Bit Different When it comes to their beach cover-ups, things are very different. The extra large canvas and space to work with lets designers go wild. They can really let themselves go with patterns and colours and make something truly beautiful and exotic. Ari is one of these items and it’s also one of the most stunning beach cover-ups Roidal has ever released. They have packed this design with true wealth and amazing luxury. And the best part of using beach cover-ups is that they are one single and simple piece of material. This makes it easy to adapt. It can be a long skirt. Or it could be a bandeau dress. And perhaps a one-shoulder toga, or a robe that you can throw over each shoulder in an Arabic style garb. Their Style Looks Beautiful On Its Own Roidal has created something that looks beautiful on its own. But Ari has a deeper effect on you than just looking good. We always connect jewellery-like patterns in our minds to beautiful beaches. The imagery of buried treasure. The mysterious ever-changing glistening off the sea’s horizon. All this makes you think you’re in an enchanted land. Well, that’s just where you are! So make the most of the beauty around you. Pick beach cover-ups filled with joy and colour and life. That way, you’ll have the best swimwear wardrobe possible. Read more about the history of Roidal here and see the latest arrivals of Roidal Spring Summer collection.

Colourblocking, A Summer Of Something Different

colourblocking summer something

A few days ago, Glamour Magazine released a fantastic new article about swimwear. It was a list of the 10 dos and do nots for your fashion swimwear in 2013. There are some very helpful tips in there about staying in style. Like this one that we loved to read about. Use “colourblocking”. But what exactly is this tip about? What is this word and what does it mean for you? What Is Colourblocking? The “do” part of their tip is to engage in a lot of colourblocking. This is where you put wildly different colours together and create a “clash” effect that somehow works. Imagine a bright green and red, for example. It can be done well with a competent designer. Glamour’s advise is to branch out and go for things other than the standard colours or black. We love the classic kind of block colours. But our fellow fashion swimwear lovers over at Glamour have it right. It’s isn’t always about timelessness. Sometimes you have to experiment. Enjoying new patterns and motifs that are in vogue can be an absolute pleasure. How To Find This Trend For Yourself The above item is the Gideon Oberson Tribal Bandeau Swimsuit. It is one of our favourite items this season that features complex design and minute detailing. The array of colour is astounding and it does exactly what a swimsuit like this is supposed to do. It produces a powerful effect on the eye and draw admirers in. Gideon Oberson’s entire collection this year is the epitome of the complex. But the Tribal designer is one of our favourites. It’s rich, primal, and full of vitality. This is the kind of thing Glamour is surely thinking about with its latest advise. This is what it means when it says to break away from single block colours this summer. There’s plenty more for you to feast your eyes on. So why not see our entire collection of new fashion swimwear?

The Astounding Power Of A Little Bit Of Colour In Sun Dresses

astounding power little

Sun dresses are becoming a popular feature on this blog. Why? Simply because designers are releasing an huge number of incredible dresses that are just blowing us away. Here’s one of Rösch’s latest pieces that’s somewhat stealing the show on beaches all over the world. The key to great fashion, we often say, is contrast. Balance elements of simplicity and complexity, bright colour and muted shades and you’ll have a recipe for something amazing. Here’s the result of that philosophy, the new Rösch Floral Sun Dress. As you can see, there’s both plainness and ornateness gathered together in one place and the effect is quite astounding. Each part of this sun dress stands out. Even the parts that might not stand out on their look incredible when they have a complimentary piece to help highlight them. Sun dresses are truly powerful pieces of fashion design. They are perfect for wearing to restaurants in the evening or on trips into a sun drenched city. We absolutely love these gorgeous garments.

Five Luxury Swimwear Brands To Follow In 2018

five luxury swimwear

We have written words and words about our favourite luxury swimwear brands in the past. If you have ever checked these pages before you can probably guess what’s our favourite brand of luxury swimwear. Gottex, of course! Gottex’s luxury bikinis and swimsuits make our dreams come true and, what to say about its luxury beachwear? Well, only that, if you can afford to buy luxury swimwear, you should look no more! But Gottex isn’t the only brand of luxury swimsuits we lose it for. Here you have a few other luxury swimwear brands you may want to take a look: Roidal: all Roidal swimwear and designer beach cover-ups are manufactured in Spain and delivered to our warehouse in the UK. All the process is hand-made by expert hands, which gives it a unique value. Roidal prints are always a success! Maryan Mehlhorn: If you are looking for luxury designer swimming costumes, Maryan Mehlhorn is your brand. Not only its swimwear is sophisticated and chic, but also very comfortable to wear in the swimming pool or the spa. It’s the kind of luxury swimwear that steals all the attention. These three luxury swimwear brands: Gottex, Roidal and Maryan Mehlhorn, have been with us for a few years and we love them. However, we stock these five designer brands you cannot miss this season. If you want to head the beach in style, you need to check out our selection of the five luxury swimwear brands you should be following in 2018. Aubade Swimwear If you follow the blog of our sister site UK Lingerie, this certainly isn’t the first time you have heard of Aubade. This French name is one of the finest brands of lingerie in the World. What about the Aubade swimwear? Well, right as you imagine. Aubade swimwear designs are always as fantastic as the lingerie ones. When we saw them for the first time, we thought we had to stock this brand. It’s so beautiful! We currently stock a couple styles, but more fabulous swimsuits and bikinis -as well as matching beachwear- are coming to stock very soon. Words can’t describe how glamourous Aubade bikinis feel. As for the swimsuits, they always have little details that, at the end of the day, make a huge difference. We can’t wait to show you the new Aubade swimwear for summer 2018. Bacirubati Beachwear Bacirubati stands for ‘stolen kiss’ in Italian. This luxury swimwear brand brings together the colour and energy of the Mediterranean coast of Amalfi, in Italy. Bright red and blue, paired with gold details. Minimal designs, but powerful prints, with italic and floral motifs. One could understand that Bacirubati beachwear is a brand for the younger woman, but we believe these gorgeous styles can look ideal no matter the age. Women over 50-year-old, take note of this luxury swimwear brand! Pierre Mantoux Beachwear Pierre Mantoux is a well-known fashion brand. It may sound French, but it isn’t. It actually comes from Italy. If you shop at UK Tights, you surely must have heard of them before, as Pierre Mantoux is one of the best brands of hosiery in Europe. We have to say Pierre Mantoux swimwear isn’t as known as its hosiery, but here we are to help this change. What do we love the most about Pierre Mantoux designs? Easy! Pierre Mantoux beachwear blends together tradition and innovation. Take the example of the picture above. There’s nothing new about a lace kaftan. Black lace is a timeless feature of fashion. Still, the shape of the poncho and the cute little fringes break with tradition. Also, why not to say it, Pierre Mantoux swimwear is so chic! PrimaDonna Swimwear If you are looking for a luxury brand of full cup swimwear, look no more. PrimaDonna swimwear is the No. 1 name for busty swimwear (and lingerie!). PrimaDonna bikinis aren’t sold as a set precisely because they aim to provide the best fit. We had always praise ourselves for having an exquisite selection of plus size swimwear, so stocking this superb brand of DD+ swimwear means the world to us! Sizes range from Small to Large, for the bikini bottoms, and 32 to 36 Cups E to G, for the tops. Great fitting isn’t everything.  PrimaDonna swimwear also looks brilliant! Watercult Swimwear Last but not least, Watercult, the youngest of our luxury swimwear brands. Despite not being our latest addition to the family, Watercult is the to-go brand for all those who are after young styles without giving up the quality. Many people don’t go on holiday as much as they’d like. So, wearing the right beach outfit is something that significantly improves the holiday experience. Watercult swimwear is our favourite brand of boho-chic swimwear, too! We’ve just received our third collection of Watercult and, somehow, we are as surprised with its great styles as the first days. What of these luxury swimwear brands has inspired you the most?
