CORONATION Street star Catherine Tyldesley has confirmed the future of her character Eva Price.
The actress, 43, made a surprise comeback to the ITV soap last year, but fans have been left concerned she might be off again after her character suffered a horror attack.

This week Coronation Street viewers saw Sam push past Eva at the Rovers, causing her to take a fall down the cellar stairs and lose consciousness.
Since then, fans have been worried that this could mean Catherine could be leaving the soap again.
But speaking at the recent Inside Soap Awards, the actress talked about forthcoming storylines, hinting that she isn’t going anywhere as her character “recovers” from the fall.
Catherine said: “What happened really scared Eva, and once she’s out of hospital, she’s genuinely in a lot of pain.
“She’s kind of 50/50 initially, but very much appreciates the fact as well that it takes a while for certain medications to kick in with certain patients that are in the same position as Sam, and she fully understands that.
“In her eyes, she wants to take a step back briefly while she recovers, and hopefully Sam adjusts to his medication, and then her first thing will then be to get the family back together because that that is always at the forefront of her mind.”

But fans need not worry, as The Sun was first to reveal last month that Catherine had put pen to paper on a brand new contract to keep her on Coronation Street.
The actress has agreed to stay for another year and signed a new 12-month contract with bosses last month.
It came after the star spent seven years away from the show and had to be wooed into agreeing to make a comeback.
Our source said: “Cath’s return was a big risk for her.
“She’d built up a great career away from Weatherfield that not everyone who leaves manages to do but being back has just been perfect.
“It means she can spend more time with her family and still do the job she loves.
“She’s going to continue to be at the heart of the show and was happy to extend her return for another year.”
