ENGLAND are in action for the first time since the World Cup TONIGHT!
The Three Lions face world champions Spain at Wembley this evening in the first match of the Nations League.
After some late withdrawals and different selections from Thomas Tuchel, the squad for this extended international period is quite different from the one who toured North America in the summer.
Declan Rice, Cole Palmer, Marcus Rashford and Kobbie Mainoo are among the names to drop out of the squad, while James Garner, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Morgan Gibbs-White have all been selected.
Since the heartbreaking end to their World Cup journey, Tuchel has reflected on his side’s run to the semi-finals and admitted that the loss against Argentina was “painful”.
Now, the German boss looks to guide England through the group stages of the Nations League, with the quarter-finals taking place in March before the finals next June.
