ED Sheeran’s shows at Gillette Stadium this weekend have been cancelled due to “bad weather”.
The singer, 35, was supposed to be performing two shows on Friday and Saturday at the multi-purpose venue in Foxborough, Massachusetts, but they’re no longer going ahead, according to TMZ.

Interestingly, the stadium is owned by billionaire businessman Robert Kraft, who has found himself at the heart of the Macklemore row.
The publication stated that there’s a huge storm set to occur in New England and as a result, the shows cannot happen.
A representative for Robert told them: “Stadium and tour management, along with public safety officials, have been closely monitoring the weather forecast over the past week.
“Due to the severe weather forecast throughout the weekend, the tour has made the difficult decision to cancel the Ed Sheeran concerts at Gillette Stadium.
“The decision was made with the safety of fans, staff and everyone involved in the shows as the top priority.
“Refunds are available now at the point of purchase. Ticket holders who purchased through Ticketmaster will be automatically refunded.”
Earlier this month, Ed’s supporting act for his Loop USA tour, rapper Macklemore, was axed by promoters following his pro-Palestinian remarks he made on stage.
Robert barred the performer from performing at his stadium and labelled his comments as “hate speech”.

The New England Patriots owner expressed: “Based on Macklemore’s recent actions, material shared from the stage during Ed Sheeran’s shows in New Jersey, and a broader history of antisemitic rhetoric and imagery that we believe has been deeply offensive and hurtful to the Jewish community, we determined that his participation in the September 25th and 26th concerts at Gillette Stadium would cross that line.”
He along with other stadium owners issued Ed with an ultimatum, axe Macklemore or the tour would lose access to their venues.
Macklemore shared a statement in which he revealed he was unable to carry on with his opening act on the tour.
Ed, who has been friends with the star for years, issued his own statement and divulged that it wasn’t his decision, but that of the promoters.
As a result of the decision, all of the rest of Ed’s supporting acts decided to remove themselves from the tour, as an act of solidarity for Macklemore.
Billie Eilish‘s brother Finneas, Irish acts Aaron Rowe and Beoga, and Danish pop star Lukas Graham have all withdrew from the tour.
As well as this, Ed’s own band also decided not to move forward with the shows in America.
However, he decided to continue on, with his first show being in Philadelphia on September 19.

The Shape Of You singer broke down in tears and apologised over the huge Palestine row.
He expressed: “I’ve had to take, and make, difficult decisions, and I am making mistakes and I’m so, so sorry for them.
“I don’t want to disappoint fans, and I’ve never wanted to be an activist musician, but this has put me in the middle of an important and passionate argument about freedom of speech and the most complex political issue on the planet.”
Ed claimed some of his close friends and family have backed away from him after the incident.
He told the crowd: “In these situations you really find out who your friends are. It’s been a weird week. It happened very quickly.
“At the same time, I had so many people telling me to cancel this tour and so many people I’ve known for years and years and years they’re kind of backing away.
“In the back of my mind, I saw the ticket sales for this gig and I didn’t see cancellations, I saw people buying tickets for this gig.
“Everyone’s telling me to cancel and I’m feeling all of my friends and family and people I know abandon me.”
