THE average Brit drinks nearly 57,000 cups of coffee during their adult life.
And seven per cent told a survey they drink five or more cups a day.

The typical coffee drinker spends more than 92 hours a year — nearly four full days — making and enjoying coffee.
On average, they neck 8,000 americanos, 6,000 lattes and 5,800 flat whites in their lifetime.
Most reach for their first brew of the day between 7am and 8am, research for coffee firm Lavazza revealed.
Forty per cent of the 2,000 people polled said they would not dream of skipping their morning brew, with 16 per cent claiming it is a non-negotiable part of their breakfast routine.
And 43 per cent insisted their morning coffee is one of the best parts of their day — with 18 per cent saying it was even more important than taking a shower.
The research found 28 per cent think sugary syrups in coffee should be banned.
And 23 per cent consider very milky coffee a no-go.
Emanuele Pellegrino, of Lavazza, said: “Clearly, we are a nation of coffee lovers.
“But whether people prefer their coffee short and intense, long and smooth or with milk, what matters is being able to enjoy quality coffee exactly the way you like it at home.”
The company is launching Tabli — packaging-free pods of compressed coffee designed to fit its new range of machines.
