Strictly fans claim Emmerdale hunk Lawrence nearly KISSED show pro live on air – did you spot it?

STRICTLY Come Dancing fans are claiming that Emmerdale hunk Lawrence Robb nearly KISSED one of the show’s pro dancers live on air – but did you spot it?

The moment was caught on camera right before celebrity hairdresser Chris Appleton, 43, was sent packing in the first elimination of the series.

It came when Lawrence, 34, and his pro partner Jowita Przystal, 32, were given the good news that they wouldn’t have to take part in the dreaded dance off.

Celebrating the result, the Emmerdale star was seen heading to pro dancer Carlos Gu, 32, to embrace him.

It then looked like Lawrence was bending in for a kiss, as he held Carlos’ face tenderly.

Noticing the moment, fans took to Reddit to discuss with one saying: “I watched the results show with my folks and my dad is adamant it looked like Lawrence was going to kiss Carlos when the dance off contenders were announced before the camera cut.”

Another replied: “I noticed that too, was an odd move!”

Meanwhile, last night Chris and his pro partner Amy Dowden were given the boot from the show.

The pair performed their Cha Cha to I’ll Be Ready from Baywatch, but it failed to hit with viewers.

During an emotional exit speech, Chris said: “It’s been such a whirlwind of emotion, I’m 43, I got good at what I’m doing which is hair and to come into something like this, I felt so out of my comfort zone.

“I saw myself in a way I’ve never seen myself and it challenged me in ways that that I never knew I could be challenges.

“I’m very grateful for everyone that has been involved. All the celebrities, cast and crew, it has just been so amazing to be part of such a special thing that I grew up watching and I feel very proud to be part of it.

“But the most important thing I think I’ll take from this show is having a friend like Amy because I genuinely love.

“I already wish I did better for her because she deserves to go further in the competition.”

Strictly Come Dancing is back on TV on Saturday at 6.15pm on BBC One
