WE may still be a few weeks from Black Friday officially kicking off, but Sage has already started cutting prices on some of its bestselling coffee machines.

For instance, the highly coveted Barista Express Impress is now down to £599.95 from £729.95 at full price.

That’s a not-too-shabby £130 off, and the cheapest price available online right now.

The Dose Control Pro price has been similarly shaved down, now £149.95 from £169.95.

Meanwhile, the Bambino Plus, Sage’s compact pick at a more budget-friendly £399.95, is holding at that price for now, but we’re keeping our eyes peeled and fingers crossed for a Black Friday deal soon.

This year, Black Friday 2026 falls on Friday 27 November, with Cyber Monday following close behind on 30 November.

Many top brands kick off their Black Friday sales a week ahead, starting from around 21 November, and Sage has historically been one to jump the starting gun.

A reliable Black Friday price that tends to sell fast

Sage the Barista Express with Milk Jug Thermal: £566.99 (was £629.99) with code COFFEE10

What’s the deal? £566.99 when bought from Curry’s saving over £60.

Why we love it: The Barista Express is the machine that converts most people from pods to real espresso, without needing to fiddle with a separate grinder for the privilege.

Steel conical burrs and 16 grind settings mean the shot is dialled perfectly, and the pressure gauge lets you know whether it’s running fast or slow.

There’s also a manual steam wand you’ll need to master, and the 31.8cm width will fit on most worktops without dominating.

Tried and tested: Sage Barista Express

Pros: Good for personalisation, double and single wall coffee baskets, built-in milk steamer, hot water tap

Cons: Expensive, requires some trial and error, self-tamping and use of razor can be messy

Our verdict: This was our reviewer’s first ever bean-to-cup machine, and it was nothing short of a life-changing transition.

Having always been a ground beans and French press kind of guy, this Sage Barista Express machine not only looks great on the counter top, but it allowed him to experiment with personalisation until he got the perfect espresso.

The hot water tap and the built-in milk frother are also welcome additions, and it really does feel like you have your own coffee shop set up at home.

It was a bit fiddly to get the settings right, and he found that it definitely took adjustments to the grind size and amount when straying away from one specific brand of beans to ensure that the pressure meter hits that ‘espresso zone’.

Overall, a perfect entry-level coffee machine for the budding barista who isn’t afraid to get stuck in.

Sage the Barista Pro

Sage the Barista Pro: £656.99 (was £729.99)

What’s the deal? £656.99 at Sage, down from £729.99.

Why we love it: The Pro is an alternative to the Express if you don’t like waiting, heating up in seconds rather than leaving you waiting for minutes (great when you’re rushing in the morning).

You also get a full display instead of the old-fashioned dial, which means more control over the end result.

When is Cyber Monday 2026, and is Sage taking part?

When is Cyber Monday? This year, the event falls on 30 November 2026, three days after Black Friday.

It’s always the Monday after Black Friday and the grand finale of the annual shopping spree.

Originally focused on online shopping, Cyber Monday has evolved, with retailers now offering deals both online and in-store.

It’s one of the best days to snag bargains after Black Friday, but if you’re eyeing something specific, don’t wait too long hoping for even lower prices.

While many offers are available over the long weekend, the best deals with the biggest discounts sell out quickly.

Luckily for bargain hunters, Sage has been known to offer discounts on Cyber Monday, so we may see similar savings once again this year.

How much does Sage shipping cost?

Anything over £10 qualifies for free delivery; for items under £10, the shipping charge is £2.50.

Delivery takes three to four working days unless otherwise specified on the product page.

As far as we can see, there is no next-day delivery option, but three to four days is pretty speedy for standard shipping.
