Woods was attending his latest TGR Jr Invitational, which saw 60 promising young golfers compete at the stunning venue.

The American legend took part in a Q&A session after the tournament – an annual premier junior golf tournament hosted by Woods.

He answered questions from youngsters and celebrating a hole-in-one scored earlier in the day.

And Woods appeared in good spirits as he chatted with the next generation of golfing stars.

His appearance comes after another difficult year away from the sport following a car accident in March and his ongoing recovery multiple surgeries.

Woods has not played competitively since missing the cut at the 2024 Open Championship at Royal Troon.

However, he sparked excitement among fans earlier this summer after footage emerged of him hitting balls on a driving range at a charity event.

He said: “I can hit pretty much anything”, although no footage has emerged of Woods swinging a club during his latest Pebble Beach visit.

The course holds special memories for Woods, who produced one of golf’s greatest performances there at the 2000 US Open.

Aged just 24, he stormed to his first US Open title by a staggering 15 shots, finishing 12-under-par while runner-up Ernie Els ended on three-over – a record winning margin in a major.

And with the US Open returning to Pebble Beach in 2027, alongside the Masters at Augusta and The Open at St Andrews, Woods could be eyeing a fairytale comeback at three venues where he has enjoyed some of his finest moments.
