LIONEL MESSI proved his class to the world again as he scored two stunners to help Inter Miami to a win – and to get revenge on an opponent.
The Argentina legend started in his side’s MLS clash with Atlanta on Sunday, alongside the likes of Luis Suarez and Casemiro.

Winger German Berterame opened the scoring for the side moments before the half time break.
But the second period belonged to Messi, who doubled his team’s advantage in the 56th minute.
The former Barcelona star picked the ball up near the halfway line and drove into the opposition’s final third, playing a neat one-two with Berterame before firing a strike under the Atlanta keeper.
He struck again four minutes later, as he was played in by Suarez with only defender Junior Alonso to beat.
Messi twisted and turned and left the Paraguayan defender in his dust, before clipping his finish in at the far post.
The pair of goals took Messi to 25 goals from 26 matches this MLS campaign, five more than the next most prolific finisher in the league.
And his second finish will have been that little bit sweeter thanks to who it was against.
Messi had a bone to pick with Alonso after a confrontation occurred during the sides’ last encounter.

Messi had two chances to latch on to a loose ball in the box in that match, but ended up seeing his shot blocked by an Atlanta defender.
Alonso then stood up and excitedly screamed and pumped his arms in the football GOAT’s face.
The 39-year-old clearly didn’t forget the incident, and got his own back by walking directly in front of the star before celebrating towards the Miami fans alongside Rodrigo De Paul.
He was also spotted on the broadcast appearing to make a spinning gesture towards the defender with his finger, possibly poking fun at him failing to keep up with the attacker for the second goal.
