SHAMLESS burst onto our screens in the noughties, and made huge stars out of its cast, which included James McAvoy and Anne-Marie Duff.
But despite appearing in the huge Channel 4 series, one of the show’s younger stars has since ditched the spotlight for a very different career.

The star in question is Johnny Bennett who is known for playing Liam Gallagher in Shameless.
The former actor, who is now 28, was just eight-years-old when he joined the cast of the smash hit show in 2006.
Johnny bagged the youngest of the Gallagher siblings, taking over from Joseph Furnac, who had the role as a toddler.
He then went onto play the naughty character for 62 episodes over six seasons, until the show ended its run in 2011.
But after Johnny finished filming the last episode of Shameless, he turned his back on acting.
The former TV star now has a completely different career, that is a far cry from acting.

Johnny now works in his native Manchester as a brand partnerships manager for the hospitality platform, EATMCR, after joining the company in May this year.
Before landing the job, he was working as a talent manager for two years from 2024.
Other jobs include restaurant manager, operations manager and talent expeditor.
