THEY married just two years ago in a £9,000 venue with seven bridesmaids and nine flower girls.
Millie Radford, the daughter of parents-of-22 Noel and Sue Radford, looked stunning in a white lace gown.
But now it can be revealed Millie and her husband, Harley Passmore, 24, have faced huge strain in their relationship.
The couple have four children – Chester, four, Elodie, three, and newborn Cooper-Jax as well as Ophelia, six, who Harley took legal guardianship of.
From torn-up wedding photos to clothes in bin bags, separations and attending baby appointments separately, the situation was at one point so dire that concerned Sue, 55, actually said: “Harley plays the role of pathetic man, ‘I can’t do this, I can’t do that’.”
And dad Noel, 55, added: “I don’t know if he’s grown up enough yet.
“It’s not just plain sailing and you do what you want when you want.”
Millie, who turned 25 last month, even kicked Harley out of their marital home in Morecambe, Lancashire, just 13 months after they tied the knot, around nine months ago.
And she didn’t tell him she was expecting Cooper-Jax, going to an early appointment alone.
Millie, speaking after she initially chucked him out, commented: “I said: ‘You can go, we are through, I’m deadly serious’.
“Not long after we got married he became very lazy. I kept saying: ‘I feel like your mother, not your wife’.
“It all came to a head when I came home from work, the house was a tip and the kids still hadn’t been fed. I got rid of him.”
Details of their fractured relationship, described by Sue as “chaotic and a bit crazy”, will be revealed for the first time in full on Sunday evening’s episode of 22 Kids & Counting on Channel 5.
Noel told how he and Sue “drew straws” when it came to visiting their daughter and her husband’s home as it was “absolute chaos.”
But on one occasion he was heading over when it was eerily quiet – only for him to find no one there but wedding pictures ripped up and Harley’s clothes in a bin bag.
At that point it was revealed that Millie, then a mum-of-three but about to find out she was pregnant with Cooper-Jax, had kicked out Harley.
She said: “I’m scared of the future, we’ve got three kids… but I deserve better. It is really sad.”
And she added: “I didn’t want the kids to have such low expectations when they were older.”
Initially, Harley said he felt an element of relief.
“She broke down saying she was not happy, crying saying: ‘Just go’,” he explained. “I went to my mum’s house. I know it sounds bad but I felt like there was a weight lifted off my shoulders.
“We have tried so many times, some things don’t work out.”
He then added: “I’m sure she’ll be begging me to come home eventually… she can’t cope with being lonely and stuff.”
Sue had some stern words to say about Harley, who she recruited to help out while she was babysitting for Millie.
“Straight away he started winding up Chester,” she said, adding he needed to act like an adult.
She also despaired of his inability to use the washing machine… especially when Harley said: “Us men we didn’t really think we had to.”
Sue said: “It’s frustrated Millie so much she thinks it’s easier to do it herself.”
Millie told her dad how she had found out, while separated, that she was pregnant.
“As long as you’re happy that’s all that matters,” Noel said, before asking her if she’d told Harley.
Millie revealed she hadn’t.
Noel said: “It’s a bit of a mess, I’m not sure it can get any worse… it’s heartbreaking. She’s got some big decisions to make.”
Millie then goes to a pregnancy appointment on her own. “With or without Harley, I’m going to do my best,” she added, before contacting him to “see what he does when I tell him we’re having another baby.”
Harley agreed to undergo therapy and appeared to benefit from it, even taking part in play sessions with the children.
“I do stress out a lot and shout at the children,” he said. “When I’m overwhelmed I turn lazy, I go on the phone.”
The couple reunite with Millie introducing new rules: that they work as a team and he pulls his weight more.
“It’s nice seeing Harley like this,” she added, seeing his play. “I’ve missed the laughter in the house because it doesn’t take much to crack Harley.”
And it seems they’re still solid with her posting a picture of him and their new boy to her social media followers.
The Radford Family also followed suit, sharing the picture a number of hours later to their social media page along with the caption: “Congratulations to Millie and Harley on the safe arrival of little Cooper Jax, he’s absolutely gorgeous. We can’t wait to meet him.”
