THE BBC have been forced to apologise after a technical issue during Scotland’s Nations League clash.
The blunder saw the Beeb fail to match video and audio during the match against Slovenia.

Fans shared their complaints on social media as a clear delay was noticed during BBC One’s live Nations League broadcast.
One fan on X said: “2026 – BBC Scotland can’t sync audio and visuals from a fellow country in mainland Europe.”
Another shared: “Nice of @bbc sport scotland to have a 3 second delay between screen and commentry.”
A third fan commented: “Can the @BBC sort the sound out on the Scotland game.”
But the BBC’s lead commentator Liam McLeod was quick to extend the BBC’s remorse for the issues.
McLeod said: “Apologies if there are audio glitches on the feed. Hopefully that sorts itself out pronto.”
The BBC were previously forced to apologise after another technical error saw fans forced to watch without commentary during Scotland’s Nations League clash against Greece last year.
Additionally, tech errors saw the BBC’s feed cut out during Wales World Cup qualifier against North Macedonia in March 2025.

The BBC’s audio issues did not impact the action on the pitch, with Slovenia disallowed an early goal.
An offside call from VAR meant that Andraz Sporar’s seventh-minute strike was chalked off.
Scotland captain Andrew Robertson was then booked for an off-the-ball incident as his side continued to pile on pressure.
However, Robertson’s side have been unable to break the deadlock as the match ended scoreless, despite a late trio of yellow cards for Slovenia.
