Celebrity Traitors fans think James Acaster has been ‘wiped’ from show – as almost half the cast skip Uncloaked finale

THERE was a notable absence of a third of the Celebrity Traitors contestants at the recording of the Uncloaked show which aired after Friday’s finale.

It’s a moment when they are all reunited in front of the cameras to watch the finale together and discuss it afterwards.

Absentees included comedian James Acaster, who sensationally threw in the towel on the show on Thursday and who complained to the show’s producers about the gruelling nature of the competition.

Others who weren’t there included Rob Beckett, even though his comedy partner Romesh won, and Michael Sheen.

Sharon Rooney, Bella Ramsey, Maya Jama  and Myha’la were understood to be filming for various projects.

Meanwhile, Jerry Hall also arrived at Broadcasting House in London to take part in the recording but within minutes had to suddenly leave.

Michael – who was murdered at the start of Friday’s finale – sent in a video from his theatre rehearsals to explain his absence, and Maya was mentioned later as well.

But some Traitors fans were left concerned by the fact James Acaster wasn’t mentioned at all.

Taking to X, one wrote: “Uncloaked completely avoiding mentioning James A.”

Another added: “No mention of James A at all in Uncloaked, obviously trying to edit him out of existence as the producers know he knocked the game off course.”

A third commented: “Loved the finale of Traitors Great end game James B shot himself in foot. What was noticeable was no mention of James Acaster in Uncloaked.”

Meanwhile others were disappointed to see so many stars from the series missing.

One wrote: “I’m surprised so many of the celebs aren’t at the Uncloaked finale. I’d have thought it would have been built into the contracts.”

Another agreed, writing: “I think it should be part of the contract that they all appear on the last uncloaked.”

A third added: “Why are these celebrities not turning up to uncloaked.”

Celebrity Traitors is available on BBC iPlayer.
