Kate Moss fronts new campaign for Hunter wellingtons 20 years after she made iconic boots chic at Glastonbury: A Practical Look

KATE Moss slips into some wellies — and looks like she could be back at Glastonbury 21 years ago.

The supermodel, 52, donned the rubber boots for the 170th anniversary of Brit brand Hunter.

She memorably wore their wellies at muddy Glastonbury in 2005 to watch then-boyfriend Pete Doherty perform with Babyshambles.

At the festival she teamed them with a variety of outfits, including tiny shorts, waistcoats, low-slung belts and even a shimmering gold minidress.

But she revealed the look was less carefully planned than it appeared.

She recalled: “We didn’t have time to go shopping.

“We were already running late, and my boyfriend at the time was performing that afternoon… Panic.”

Her last-minute choice made wellies a festival must-have for many.

Kate has since traded the London party scene for a quieter life in the Cotswolds.

And she was seen in a new photoshoot flitting among the trees in Hunter’s Original Tall Wellington Boot.

This time she has teamed them with another low-slung black belt, plus blue tartan jacket and black hotpants.

There was a bash at West London’s Ladbroke Hall to celebrate 170 years of Hunter and launch its new global AW26 Iconic by Nature campaign.

Kate went on: “I’ve been a loyal fan of Hunter for years, ever since the festival where I wore them with way too short shorts.

“I was just about to leave the house and heard it was already knee high in mud in the fields.

“I went to my trusted Hunter wellies in my closet.

“They were black and were tighter to the leg and they were waterproof. Bingo.”
