NON-LEAGUE club Gateshead have been forced to postpone a National League game due to a scheduling conflict.
Gateshead, who play in the fifth-tier of the English pyramid, were due to face Tamworth at Gateshead International Stadium on November 7.

However, the club released a statement saying the fixture had been postponed.
The statement released on social media said: “Our fixture at home to Tamworth on Saturday, November 7th has been postponed due to two large events at Gateshead International Stadium on the same date.
“A new date will be communicated when possible.”
The events in question are a double bill of fireworks display by the name of Fireworks Frenzy.
Doors open at 5pm for the event with a giant fairground while local band Whiskey Hollow headline the entertainment alongside Taylor Swift and K Pop Tribute acts.
There will then be a Grand Finale display of fireworks scheduled for 8:30pm.
Reacting to the postponement, one fan said: “That’s a new one.”
A second said: “This sounds a bit amateurish to be brutally honest.”

A third added: “Shambles.”
Another said: “Just fold the club man put it out of its misery.”
Gateshead have been in turmoil this season after the withdrawal of funds from their co-owner meant they were unable to pay staff – and are without a manager after sacking Lee Cattermole.
However, it was announced the Flacks Group – an American private investment firm set up by Manchester-born billionaire Michael Flacks – had agreed a takeover deal.
But that now appears to be in jeopardy after the Group penned an open letter revealing it was informed another party had agreed to buy the club from the current owners in March.
Flacks Group claim Shoreline Limited attempted to purchase the club but four months later filed court documents confirming its agreement was null and void.
The American firm has claimed Shoreline has refused to respond to its inquiry over alleged involvement, saying in their letter: “We needed Shoreline to confirm in writing that it would give up any ownership claim it might have over Gateshead FC.
We expected this to be an uncontroversial request since Shoreline’s own court proceedings seek to confirm the cancellation of their purchase agreement.

“We needed their written confirmation as to ownership because, without it, we could not be confident that our takeover of the club would be free from dispute.
“Unfortunately, even though Shoreline’s own legal case before the court asserts that they do not wish to own the club, Shoreline has refused to provide us with the written confirmation we have sought.
“This extremely frustrating situation is compounded by the fact that Shoreline are currently in the process of seeking to acquire another football club that are in the EFL.
“Regulations forbid any owner to take control of more than one English football club.
“Therefore, clarifying the ownership of Gateshead FC would not only clear the way for our rescue of the club; it would also clear the way for the Shoreline to acquire their other chosen club.”
Flacks Groups takeover had been subject to approval by the Independent Football Regulator.
