RICK Stein’s TV chef son Jack has secretly split from his wife and revealed he is expecting a child with his stunning new partner.
Cooking with the Stars and Saturday Kitchen star Jack Stein has quietly separated from spouse Lucy and moved on with new partner Sophie, who is expecting the couple’s first baby together.
Dad-of-two Jack – the middle son of iconic chef Rick Stein – revealed that he and Sophie are expecting a baby in a sweet post uploaded to Instagram over the weekend.
In the snap, the couple can be seen standing in front of a scenic Cornwall backdrop as they pose alongside their beloved pet pooch.
Sophie held up an ultrasound baby scan photo and, in his image caption, Jack wrote: “ One more at the table. April 2027.”
Jack’s followers and celebrity friends rushed to congratulate him on the happy news.
Former Bake Off champion Candice Brown gushed: “Mega!!! Congratulations,” while Love Island alum Maura Higgins wrote: “Ahhh huge congratulations.”
Scarlett Moffatt, who welcomed her second child this week, cooed: “Awwww this is amazing!! Huge congratulations.”
Jack does not appear to have publicly acknowledged his split from artist wife Lucy, who he shares two children with.
The couple wed in July 2022 in a stunning Cornish ceremony surrounded by their family and friends.
The TV chef often shared loved up snaps of him and Lucy as well as family images of them with their two children to his social media accounts.
Lucy has since deactivated her Instagram account and has reverted back to her maiden name, Lucy Musca, on her social media profile.
Jack works as a pro chef and chef director across the Rick Stein restaurants.
He is also the author of cookbook World on a Plate, released by Bloomsbury Cooks and Absolute Press.
The foodie is one of Rick’s three sons with his first wife Jill.
His brothers Edward and Jack all work on their dad’s business too.
