A BRITISH stationery chain with over 400 stores has revealed it’s shutting another of its branches.
The company is axing 150 stores nationwide – with 19 set to shut this month and even more in October.

TGJones is now set to shut its branch in Wandsworth, south west London.
“Store closing down” signs have appeared in the windows of the shop, in the Southside Shopping Centre, with up to 30% off all stock.
The store has been a fixture of the centre for over two decades, mainly under its former title of WHSmith.
While no exact closing date has yet been confirmed for the store, it is expected to shut by January 2027.
TGJones has around 450 sites across the UK, but has made a string of closures in recent weeks.
This week, it shut down its popular Rustington shopping centre store in West Sussex and its branch in London’s Eltham High Street.
It comes as bosses battle to secure the “long-term future” of the retail chain.
WHSmith’s high street shops were sold off last year and rebranded under the new name TGJones, after being bought by private equity firm Modella Capital in a £76million deal.
But the chain has struggled to trade successfully since the start of this year, leading a court to approve a major restructuring plan in July that put around 150 stores at risk.
TG Jones was contacted for comment.
