Keir announced he will step down as Prime Minister, acknowledging the Labour’s Parliament Part doesn’t see him as the best candidate to lead the next general election. The new transition is expected to be placed before September.

Those questions have been answered,” Mr. Starmer said, adding, “The question my party is asking now is whether I am best placed to lead us into the next general election.”
