Rosie O’Donnell Joke About Trump and Natalie Harp Draws Gasps From ‘Kimmel’ Crowd

On her third night guest hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Rosie O’Donnell made an eyebrow-raising joke about President Trump’s relationship with his aide Natalie Harp.

She also threw in a jab about recent online speculation that Trump is wearing a wig, for good measure.

“A special hello to those of you watching from home — and from the White House,” O’Donnell said (video below). “You got to realize it’s time to hang up your wig and let Natalie tuck you in.”

The comment drew roars of surprise and applause from the Kimmel crowd.

O’Donnell added, “But I do have some bad news for President Petty Roosevelt. That’s all I’m going to say about you tonight, sweetheart. Time to go nighty night.”

The president’s relationship with the 35-year-old White House executive assistant — who joined Trump’s team in 2022 — has been the subject of increasing media scrutiny in recent weeks, with reports about the duo’s closeness.

Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff of Georgia made headlines Sunday for snarking that Trump just “wants to build his ballroom and travel with Natalie on their apparently defenseless flying palace gifted by the Emir of Qatar.” When Trump was asked about the jab at a press conference, he accused the reporter of asking a “disgusting and inhumane question.”

Then a CNN report revealed that in 2023, Harp got in a screaming match when she was denied a seat in Trump’s motorcade and then jumped into the trunk of an SUV to keep from being left behind. The report described Harp as “omnipresent,” saying the staffer trails the president around the country feeding him printed-out positive news stories and social media posts about himself, resulting in the nickname “the human printer.”

Reacting to the media reports, Harp’s estranged brother was on CNN this week claiming his sister had an “unhealthy obsession” with the president.

Trump son Eric slammed the CNN interview as “absolute trash,” and defended the staffer: “Natalie is an incredible young woman — a cancer survivor, a genuinely good person, and arguably one of the hardest-working people in the White House. She’s deeply committed to my father, to her job, and to this country. From the looks of it, she got all the family genetics. CNN continues to be a joke.”

O’Donnell is hosting Kimmel this week, with her first monologue, in particular, drawing raves.
