BECC Primary International School to move to new campus on Soi 112
The BECC Primary International School has begun construction on a new purpose-built campus off Soi 112 in Hua Hin, with the school scheduled to open at the site in August 2027.
The school held a groundbreaking ceremony at 9am on Saturday 9 May, marking the official start of construction.
The new campus will be located about eight minutes from BECC’s current site and is planned as an expanded 10-rai facility with 18 air-conditioned classrooms, a library, computer suite, Thai culture room, outdoor play areas, office facilities and a dedicated car park.
The school said the move is intended to provide pupils with more specialist learning spaces, improved facilities and a larger environment for academic and personal development.
The development will also include a purpose-built car park, CCTV, security systems, fire and emergency procedures, and improved safeguarding measures. The school said international accreditation is also part of the project, with the aim of improving teaching standards and policies.

BECC said the move will not change the school’s leadership, staff or overall approach. The full management team and staff are expected to transition to the new campus, while the school will continue to follow the British Curriculum and maintain its international calendar.
The school also said its culture, community atmosphere, PTA and continuity for currently enrolled pupils would remain central to the new campus.
A timeline released by the school lists the groundbreaking ceremony as the official start of construction. A soft opening is planned for April 2027, when administrative offices and key learning resources are expected to become operational. The full BECC International School campus is then scheduled to officially open in August 2027.
The project is being led by a team of partners with more than 100 years of combined education experience in Thailand. They include partners Khun Natcha Torthienchai and Ms Sonia Gan, along with founding partners Mr Oliver Neve and Ms Emma Neve.
The school also acknowledged the role of NPP Consultants in helping identify suitable land options for the new campus. The company, led by CEO Natcha Boonkrong, worked with BECC and the developer during the planning stage of the project.
The school said the new campus will bring together pupils on one unified site, with more room for collaboration and future growth.
Founders Scholarships are also planned, with the school saying these will help maintain fees in line with the current fee schedule.
The BECC Primary International School move marks a significant expansion for the school, which has served families in Hua Hin since 2009.
