New Pokemon TCG Pocket Trailer Shows Off Ruler of the Skies Expansion
As is tradition, Pokemon TCG Pocket began teasing the trailer for its next expansion a day before release. So, fans knew to be on the lookout for our first look at the upcoming Ruler of the Skies expansion. Now, the trailer is live, giving us some insight into the theme and included cards for this latest drop. The Ruler of the Skies expansion will arrive in Pokemon TCG Pocket on Wednesday, July 29th at 9 PM ET.
This trailer gives us just a glimpse into the full card list, but it’s already poised to deliver some powerful new ex cards into the meta. Do I kind of miss the cute puppy Pokemon? Yes. But I have to admit I’m excited to see what players make of some of these new ex cards set to arrive with this latest booster. Like most of the recent releases, it looks like Ruler of the Skies will have just the one pack design. That means it’s likely another smaller set, but one that will bring more battle-worthy heavy hitters than Everyday Wonders.
Every Card Revealed in the Pokemon TCG Pocket – Ruler of the Skies Trailer

This first glimpse of Ruler of the Skies gives us a look at some of the cards coming to potentially shake up the meta. And after the cute but underwhelming Everyday Wonders, many fans are ready for some heavy hitters. Personally, I’m still working on my puppy collection, but I suppose I can make time for the new drops. And some of them do look pretty cool. Before I dive into the full list of today’s card reveals, you can check out the latest Pokemon TCG Pocket trailer for yourself below:

Once the set arrives next week, we’ll have a better idea of the full scope of new cards. But from this early look, I can already tell it’s going to be a big one for the PvP scene. And I need that Dragonair in my life immediately, not to mention the latest new design for my chronic migraine icon Psyduck.
