These leaked iPhone 18 Pro colours look very familiar — Explained
We’re one week out from Apple’s iPhone 18 launch, at which we expect the iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max and the all-new foldable to make their debut. However, all that’s been confirmed by Apple is the 9 September date and the name of the event: “Surprise and Shine”. For the rest of it, we’re relying on industry leaks.
We’ve gathered quite a lot of information about the upcoming releases, which you can explore in our round-ups of the iPhone 18 models and the foldable Ultra (or whatever it’s eventually named).
A new leak from a Weibo account Fixed Focus Digital claims to know the final colours for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models.
The colour options that’ll be on offer are described as Dark Cherry or Burgundy, Sky Blue and Black, with an outside chance of a Silver model appearing as well. A release of three colours would be in line with what Apple offered last year, when it launched the Pro models in the hero Cosmic Orange colourway, as well as the more subdued Deep Blue and Silver.
Here’s the image that appeared alongside the post.

Fixed Focus Digital
Fixed Digital Focus has a mixed track record when it comes to leaks so we wouldn’t trust them entirely. However, the colours they mention are remarkably similar to the hues confirmed by our sibling publication, Macworld, in an earlier, exclusive leak. We’ve discussed them before.

Foundry
The colours shown by Fixed Focus Digital look flatter and more washed out than Macworld’s reproductions, with the hero Dark Cherry shade looking like a faded school tie. But that could just be the reproduction and we’d expect more from the final colours.
Macworld even provided Pantone colour references for the expected colours, so you can check them out yourself if you’re deciding which option to go for.
- Light Blue (Pantone 2121)
- Dark Cherry (Pantone 6076)
- Dark Gray (Pantone 426C)
- Silver (Pantone 427C)
