Pixel Watch 5 leaked colours suggest shake-up You Should Know
Hot on the heels of the Galaxy Watch 9 being officially teased by Samsung, the Google Pixel Watch 5 has leaked in official-looking press renders.
They appear to show Google’s new flagship Wear OS smartwatch in four new colours while confirming various details about the device at the same time. The images are via a seemingly new site, TheTideChart, but in partnership with reliable leaker OnLeaks.
The Pixel Watch 5 is expected to come in two sizes once again (each Wi-Fi or LTE in addition, despite some confusion) and by the looks of it, the design is almost identical to the Pixel Watch 4.
That model, while keeping the familiar style of the Pixel Watch, introduced a number of subtle changes and upgrades, such as a new Actua 360 display, charging contacts on the side for a new dock and a repairable design for the screen and battery.
All that looks to have stayed the same, with Google primarily introducing a shake-up of the colourways available. According to the report, the Pixel Watch 5 will come in Dark Anthracite, Natural Silver, Pyrite and Warm Gold (each with a different band colour).
The news comes just hours after the Pixel 11 colours leaked (and we’ve ranked)

These appear to be all completely new, but compared to the Pixel Watch 4, they are perhaps better described as new names for Matte Black, Polished Silver and Champagne Gold (with a slightly darker tone) – for three of them at least.
Warm Gold is the seemingly new option, with a bright, glossy look. Moonstone from the larger 45mm Pixel Watch 4 seems to have been ditched.
In fact, the shake-up means all four colours will come in 41mm and it’s the larger 45mm size which misses out on Warm Gold. This is based on the information available, anyhow.
Here’s the full rundown with band colours included:
- Dark Anthracite + Black band – 41/45mm
- Natural Silver + Pale Gray band – 41/45mm
- Pyrite + Olive band – 41/45mm
- Warm Gold + Coral band – 41mm
The Pixel Watch 5 is set to launch with Wear OS 7 and a price rise, meaning the cheaper model will start at $399 – $50 more than its predecessor.
Google has confirmed the Pixel 11 launch event (without mentioning the phone by name) for 12 August in New York, which is where the Pixel Watch 5 should also be announced.
It’s tipped for a 20 August release date.
