A Look at leak suggests Galaxy S26 FE is yet another 2026 phone to skip

Full specifications for the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE have emerged ahead of its launch.

We grow a little less enthused for the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE with each passing leak and rumour, but it’s worth remembering that we started from a pretty high bar.

After all, the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE has been the best mid-range phone on the market for much of the past year, in our estimation.

Now we have a pretty comprehensive overview of what Samsung’s follow-up is going to have to offer, courtesy of German website WinFuture. While largely more of the same, get ready for an unwelcome price hike.

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE design, display and performance

We already know what the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is going to look like, thanks to a series of leaked images (including from Android Headlines, pictured below), but this latest report basically confirms that we’ll be getting it in three colour options: Graphite (dark grey), Pistachio (light green), and Blueberry (light blue).

It’ll weigh 193g, and will be 7.4mm thick, and there’ll be IP68 dust and water resistance certification. Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity should be present. All broadly in line with the Galaxy S25 FE, give or take a few grams.

Android Headlines

Apparently, it’s going to be fronted by a 6.7-inch 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 2340 x 1080 resolution and a maximum brightness (in HBM) of 1,900 nits.

It’ll run on Samsung’s own Samsung Exynos 2500 chip, last seen in the Galaxy Z Flip 7, with 8GB of RAM and either 128 or 256GB of storage.

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE camera and battery

There’ll be three cameras around back, with a 50Mp f/1.8 main and an 8Mp f/2.4 3x telephoto. There’ll be a new 12Mp ultra-wide, too, and a 12Mp camera around front.

New to this year’s model with be support for 8K/30fps video.

The battery capacity will come in at 4900mAh, with 45W wired charging support – again, just like the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE before it. Curiously, it’s claimed that this is a Si/C battery, though we can’t see any accompanying gain in capacity or loss of weight to attest to that idea.

Just a couple of weeks ago we learned that the Galaxy S26 FE was to receive a price bump, with the range-topping 512GB model representing a €170 increase over its predecessor.

All in all, it’s shaping up to be an incremental update with a higher-than-incremental price increase.
