Galaxy S27 Ultra colours leak – and they make the S26 Ultra look exciting
The Galaxy S27 Ultra colours have leaked, and I can’t help feeling a little disappointed.
Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S27 series isn’t expected until next year, but celebrated leaker Ice Universe claims to have an “exclusive” on the Ultra’s colour selection.
The phone will be available in these five colours: Black, Blue, Light Pink, White and Violet. I’m underwhelmed, to put it mildly, but all hope isn’t lost yet.
A colourway downgrade?
Let’s start with the main issue: the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s best colour has been ditched!
I loved the moody purple hue of the Cobalt Violet finish. But if Ice Universe is correct, it’s been replaced by a less interesting sounding Violet.

How much of a departure will this be? That remains to be seen, but it’ll almost certainly be a lighter shade of purple. In other words, too washed out to really make a statement or avoid picking up visible dirt.
The Galaxy A27‘s Blue serves as a guide for what to expect on the S27 Ultra. I’m glad the Sky Blue of its predecessor is no more, but its replacement doesn’t appear to be anything to write home about.
Light Pink also makes an appearance on the A27, though the less said about it, the better.
We’ve also got the usual boring but probably most popular finishes: Black and White. But that’s it, at least for now…
Store-exclusive colours offer hope
The fact that Ice Universe only listed four colour options says a lot. Since 2021, every Galaxy S Ultra phone has offered at least three Samsung.com-exclusive colours.
With Phantom Navy, Titanium Green and Coral Red among the options over the years, the store exclusives are often where we see the most exciting colours.

The question is, what could the S27 Ultra’s selection look like? Will we see a significant change to the current lineup? Silver Shadow, Pink Gold, Sky Blue and White won’t convince many people to go direct rather than via a third-party retailer.
Of course, colours are just a small part of the overall package. Read more about what the S27 Ultra could bring to the table in our full Galaxy S27 series guide.
